So I’ve been purchasing from this vendor in this source talk for the past year and have had nothing but good experiences which is why I wanna keep him anonymous for now. However, my latest purchase of primo from him was yellow and I’ve purchased primo many times from him and it was always the same color of water. It’s not even a shade darker this time it’s like actually yellow. I’m going to provide pics of the old which doesn’t have much left in it and the new one. The old one is almost empty so look to the bottom to see the color. I emailed the vendor and let him know the primo was yellow and he replied to me with this email “Oil color is based off how much heat has to be applied to bring that particular batch to optimal solution. It varies due to a number of factors including outside air temp. It has no impact on the efficacy of the oil.”

So what I want to know is if he is actually right about what he’s saying and there’s nothing I should worry about or is this vendor saying anything cover his ass.

Do you think I should post this in source complaints

Moderators are not going to intervene on a matter of oil colour, so please don't post it there. You could inquire with other users in the source's thread with their experience with the product. If you're concerned about the efficacy/legitimacy of the product you could also opt to send it to @Janoshik for testing.

How yellow is it? Is it yellow as a vial of tren?
I don’t know why the photos didn’t upload the first time but I’m uploading them again so you can see how yellow it is. It isn’t as yellow as tren but it’s in between deca and tren I would say. I’m just wondering if this is even primo or even safe to inject. I’m in the middle of my blast and I’m going to need to start using the new vial in 4 more days so I can’t wait for it to be tested.

I've brewed gallons of primo E with mct oil and it never had the slightest hint of color. The only compounds that had any slight tint was deca and EQ. Obviously tren too but more so than that

It almost looks like the label color might be reflecting back into the vial. It’s really hard to tell if the oil is yellow, at least for me. It’s probably more obvious in person.

I agree that it seems the label is creating a reflection

maybe it’s gso? There was a new supplier of primo raws recently but idk if that’s the likelihood of it being the reason

My initial thought was reflecting from the yellow cap on the vial, but i dont know. Zooming in to the photo, it does look yellow tinged.

It’s definitely not Gso it's viscosity would be much higher and the source never mentioned switching to GSO.

That is most definitely yellowish.

MCT can become yellow, but it’s a sign of degradation… usually oxidation that’s been accelerated by heat and light, because it takes a very long time to occur without them. If you take out a tiny bit from each vial, do they smell the same? Rancid oil very often smells different.

But, of course, it’s impossible to know whether it’s just the oil or if there’s another problem.

Just smelled both LOL and they both smelled very similar couldn’t smell much of a difference tbh.

I worked out a resolution with the source. How do I delete this post?
