Accutane - First time

So I've had back acne ever since being in TRT and it never goes away, I've tried acne washes and all of that stuff.

I want to give Accutane a try I know it is not the best shit to take but I want the acne gone it is painful on my back.

What's a good beginning dosage to start with and how often do u guys take it for and for how long?

I’d start conservatively at 5mg a day for a two weeks before ramping up if needed. I’m a huge believer in trying to get the most from the least drugs possible. Also, try cleaning up your diet first, I know dairy or fats cause some people to break out

ok cool, I'm on the same thought process - I liked least amount possible - I have 10mg capsules that I can't cut up- should I do it every other day in that case? or try to find non capsules

You just dose EOD, not sure what the half life is but I know people who do EOD

I'd go to a dermatologist and get it prescribed. It's some really strong shit.

following because I'd also like to know. I'm in the boat of taking as little as possible as well, but wondering how long you would need to run it at lower doses

I'm sure I could but my derm doesn't take insurance I don't feel like paying 250 for a visit to be honest lol.

I'll start low and just keep it low if I see any difference over time , I've had this acne on my back since being in TRT for 3 years and it's cystic acne sometimes and hurts

The way my dermatologist did it was based off of my body weight. Watch your liver and drink plenty of water and stay out of the sun. Oh also keep a bunch of lip balm on you
