I am always so back and forth on social media. I like to check out hotties and stuff, but I always end up adding randos who post about their baby daddy issues and just everything under the sun and seeing other people's problems really brings me down a couple notches. I always return for the insta booty, but that gets old to me too watching guys simp all day for the same leg day routine on every post, and then there's the people in real life that you know that don't follow back because they want their followed to following numbers to not be close.

I dunno just seems like an antisocial validation fest. Anyone else not care for it?

I was late to social media because I was young and married when it became popular. I got divorced 13 years ago and hopped on them. Primarily facebook. Since then, every single relationship and date, with one exception, has come from Facebook.

Facebook is the single greatest dating app I can imagine. Post your yolked physique sparingly. Post dog and farm pics often. Be funny and watch messenger blow up with options. Near and far. I’ve started long distance relationships on Facebook. One ended in engagement. But it’s a goldmine for meeting decent gals.

Lol how did you end the engagement. Would love to hear

I used to bang a ton of chicks from Facebook but lately it seems like the market changed or something. I live in a small state and think maybe I've been a marked man a time or two on that is this your man page lol

Even dating apps I get jack shit but bottom of the barrel stuff haha

Be like me! Social free! I prefer the real world. Social media is a cartoon.
Social free! I have noticed Real world conversations are harder and harder to come by with everyone buried in their phones. I had MySpace for a bit when it first came out. Figured out real quick it was going to be a problem lol. I’m almost 40yrs old now and glad I avoided the hype.

I’m probably going to delete social soon or just stop posting. It seems as if anytime I post a juiced photo of me on a beach or at a pool, I LOSE female followers and only get male attention (example: men commenting the gorilla emoji or some shit). It seems as if chicks don’t like the juiced vascular look. What gives

Y'all do realize like 99% of social media is fake right? I don't mean in the sense of 'Durrr Russian bots durrr' like CNN tells you but in the sense that it actually is not as big as you're led to believe and CGI (Or AI if you wanna use the newthink terminology that dropped lately) is used to create pictures to populate accounts so you think it's a much more popular thing. Once you're snared because you thought it was The Big Thing, you're force fed advertisements 24/7 and willingly give up your personal info as well as details about your private life.

TL/DR: It's smoke a mirrors; Maybe 1% of the people you see even really exist.

Getting rid of social media is a great thing. When your on your deathbed reflecting about your life you will regret all the time wasted getting quick dopamine hits over making progress in life.
