Aromasin vs. Arimidex

I think I’m going to switch to Aromasin on my TRT dose. Even though I have good numbers with .25mg every 3 days with Arimidex, my libido sucks. Question is, is Aromasin stronger or weaker? Will a quarter tab of Aromasin do what a quarter tab of arimidex does for me?

Have you tried searching online for the answer?
Youll have much better information if you did.
From what I know Aromasin is the stronger one its a suicide on the receptor, if you need more information it’s probably best you researched it as that’s what I’ve done in the past.
Can’t really explain it better than that.

Yeah, I understand the difference in how both works, just looking for some real world experience. Nothing better than blood work I guess.

there’s no need for it if your on a proper TRT dose.

Asin is stronger yes. Outside of getting in to the mechanisms, that’s the easiest answer for ya right there.

Aromasin destroys estrogen while arimidex just surpresses it. From what I read its easier to crash e2 with aromasin however with arimidex you get estrogen coming back like cray during pct. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

I suggest stay with arimidex, least side effects which while on TRT (low sides as is) why take anything else that may have sides. Yes aromasin will be much harder if not possible to dial in a dose low enough to not crash E2 for TRT in my experience. Crashing E2 will not give u the desired effect, not too low or too high.

I believe you’re doing the right thing, however a few things to be considered.

I reccomend “dialling” in your adex on cycle/TRT dose via libido. The easiest/best marked of libido is morning wood. Start at .2mg every 3 days and increase by .05mg. Up the dose should yield a notable increase in libido/morning wood. Continuing to Up the dose until should cause libido/wood to drop. Once I notice a drop in libido I back off my adex .05mg until libido returns full force. IMO and my experience this is your perfect dose for cycle. I feel it yields all TRT/cycles benefits with no/little sides. Many will increase/decrease by .1mg, I suggest .05mg because I believe the results we desire requires a finetuning approach rather then typical “horseshoes and handgrenades” approach held by most. Maybe try to dial in the dose more at .025 once ur near perfect dose. After all sucky libido I’d imagine isn’t “no libido” and with everything else looking ship shape wouldn’t it seem a matter of “fine tuning”.

More on fine tuning learned this after repeatedly developing increasingly severe anxiety while just on 250 test E a week dosed once a week.

Combined with the above I now dose test e, every 3 days. I found around 8-12+ weeks into TRT I become more sensitive to the drop in test e increasingly so around the 4th day post injection. I take my adex on this same day.

Test dosed at the same dose, will build up to Higher levels the longer you’re on, so does estrogen and e2. Not to mention if you’re like me and cruise, blast, cruise blast. Just asI had experienced when running test e for 8-12+weeks once a day with no on cycle…my body became more sensitive, sides slowly built from mild anxiety to probably 20 plus anxiety attacks for no reason every day and being woke up by anxiety attacks 1-2 times a night. After ssri’s Buspar blood pressure meds, doc was aware of my test dose. Assured me to continue although I theorized it was to blame. Finally I listen to my body not the dude trying to fix problems with more problems. Stopped test and learned to fine tune. Now no side effects. Hell even my tren cycles have little to no real side effects!

Before you give up on the adex try my dose of .3mg, I’ve had to up to .4mg as of late. Typically I reset this now by swapping to all short Esther’s every 10 weeks or so. At least seems to work and makes sense to me.

Also a low dose of tadalfil (cialis) of 5-10mg every 3-4 days can do wonders for libido. Not to mention o believe helps with testosterone to estrogen ratio and maybe pump.

Staying on gear I’ve read can lower thyroid levels or maybe certain gear. I’ll run a cycle of T3 at as low as 30mcg for a 3-4weeks, sometimes ramping up to 50mcg or all the way to 100mcg, always tapering. I use it primarily on tren but once a year while on trt

Most people are deficient in magnesium, get a good source of magnesium like a chelated magnesium. Most multis contain junk sources of mag and well everything else. The side effects of magnesium deficiency is huge. Take with vitamin d3 and avoid calcium consumption hr or so before and after taking mag. Signs and symptoms. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency include hyperexcitability, muscular symptoms (cramps, tremor, fasciculations, spasms, tetany, weakness), fatigue, loss of appetite, apathy, confusion, insomnia, irritability, poor memory, and reduced ability to learn.

Sorry for rant and if I got off topic.

Nice post Pandora. To echo off of Pandora, Asin will be very difficult to dial in with a trt level of test unless you create a suspension of it by using a mortar and pestle on your pills then following the proper math steps to know exactly how much you’re getting for x # of drops.

There’s “TRT” and there’s “TRT Enhanced” and they are slightly different. True TRT is a dose that you can take without needing any AI - a true replacement. This might be 75-150 mg of test per week. No E2 issues after 6-8 weeks of the protocol because your test is properly within range and aromatization of said testosterone is putting you within proper range. “TRT Enhanced” on the other hand is 125-250 mg of test per week with an AI used to keep your E2 within a safe/healthy/good feeling range. THERE’S NOTHING WRONG with this approach, but it does introduce more moving parts so to speak and require the dialing in that Pandora explained in detail above. This setup may very well have you at supraphysiological levels of total/free test. Again not a thing wrong with this as long as you feel good, blood/lipid panels look good, and you’re not struggling to maintain your E2 in range. The more AI you have to take the more likely it could negatively influence your lipids which CAN be a concern since TRT is a long term or for life thing.

Finally, because Asin is a suicidal aromatase inhibitor IF you crash your E2 with it on a TRT protocol you’re going to struggle to rebound your estro for a while. You simply don’t have enough excess test for the body to try to convert. With Adex if you feel your E2 getting crashed all you have to do is skip a dose or two and you should rebound relatively quickly. Some of the Aromatase enzyme will be able to reactivate and resume conversion of testosterone compared with the body having to produce more enzyme after crashing with Asin.

This is my understanding as well. I’ve even heard of Arimidex be referred to as self regulating. Personally I’ve never crashed my e2 on Arimidex but I have with Letro.

Wow. Great posts guys! Thanks for the info. I’ll take your advise and stay with the Adex. I’ll try Pandora’s method and see how it goes.
