Cholesterol bloods

When I donate blood it gives a total cholesterol number which is 184. Is it still worth getting the hdl/ldl numbers from a separate blood work or is the above number fine enough to go off of?

More information is always useful, but you still have a relatively good idea of where you are from the total value. I’d personally want the hdl/ldl if I had just finished up a cycle with orals or tren, but if it was just test or something I don’t think it’d be as necessary.
