Been playing around with a PPL split the last few years and getting a bit tired of it. Going to start switching some of the movements up and maybe slowly transition into a power building routine.

What routine are you currently doing? What routine did you see the best results with?

I've experimented with many routines over the decades. Currently: high volume isolation upper, heavy compound lower, rest. Heavy compound upper, high volume isolation lower, rest. Repeat. Core on upper days. I'm trying to focus more on lower body right now and upper/ lower splits give me 3 days per week for that. I'll do this for 2 months because I get best results when I change my routine that often.

I've been doing a bastardized 5/3/1 for the last five or so years and I love it. Plenty of flexibility, some lift if always moving, and you can push it really hard without spending all of your waking hours in the gym.
