Does your partner/immediate family know about your gear usage?

Personally it’s on a need to know basis. A few of my lifelong friends I lift with know, and that’s about it. Haven’t dated anyone for long enough since I started to broach the subject, and my parents grew up extremely DARE brainwashed and anti-drug so telling them isn’t a question. Really wish I could convince my old man to get on TRT though, the guy has been lifting consistently for 30 years but has plateaued for the last 15. And he’s past 50 so lifelong test usage isn’t a huge concern.

It’s definitely a need to know. Unless I have some medical problem related to gear I’ll never tell anyone other than the one person that does know. She only found out because she found my stash but it’s cool.
People at the gym and work might make comments all the time but just blow them off with a wave and a laugh. It’s not worth the trouble.

They all ‘know’ in the sense that they can tell I’ve gotta be using gear to be my size/physique, but I have not confirmed it at all to any of them.

I personally have only told my gf about my usage, kind of a relief only because I was afraid one day she would find the sryinges/vials only to think the worst. I reccomend telling your partner so you can sleep better at night, pin when they are in a room near you and not freak out, etc.
only issue when showing your partner, show 2-3 vials (or a few things). when I confessed to my gf I had shown my stash of 16-20 vials, 10-12 baggies of pills (AI,orals), and an easy amont of 200 syringes… wanted to come “clean” to her, it was hard to explain to her I bought in bulk because of a deal lol
Family is a no-go.

My family, partner, and some of my friends know. I don’t really give a shit and I will explain how the media has completely lied about it. Like Bostin Loyd, I really don’t give a shit who knows and or what they think because it doesn’t affect me. I haven’t had anyone react so bad the wanted to sever a relation shit with me. In fact, I told my mother and brother what I wanted to do for my first cycle before I was ever on anything.

I openly share with many clients I treat (I work in behavioral healthcare as a therapist) about the benefits I have personally experienced using TRT with the hopes of reducing stigma and educating many middle aged and older males men that come for treatment of “depression” (much of which is directly tied to hormone imbalance and/or undiagnosed/untreated Sleep Apnea) - I tell them flat out - you can’t talk your way into resolving physiological/biological issues. But I do get a lot of comment b/c I’m in decent shape (I guess I’m muscular compared to what most people picture as the therapist), but I’m open with my family and baby momma and best friend even made comments when my mood changed due to use of 19Nors (Deca made me feel very emotional and fairly depressed). I’m blessed to have the BEST endocrinologist APRN ever managing my TRT and I share with him about ongoing and aspects of planned cycle use and do regular bloodwork monthly. The guy told me, "you seem to know more about this medical stuff (hormones and biofeedback response) than some of my peers - Thanks to SST and you guys for the education. I don’t care what anyone else thinks, but to each their own. Consider the risk vs. rewards prior to disclosure.

Met my partner in the gym, both on contest prep. Her “coach” put her on 20mg of whinny for a long time, I got her off and shes now on var 10mg, and 40mg primo a week. She goes from needy af, to snappy and annoyed constantly. Me knowing shes on anabolics def helps, but I also understand anabolics.

I told my partner I used anabolics before we were ever in a relationship. I figured she was going to find out at some point anyway, so might as well be upfront about it. That way, if she had a problem with it we could just avoid it being a problem down the road. I have been on and off (always cruising) for about 5 years. Both my parents know and I talk openly with them about it. My very close friends know. I am kind of guarded about it when it comes to my professional life as I work in healthcare and don’t want to run into any troubles in that area of my life. Although I think it is becoming rather obvious at this point being 5’10" and 214lbs but whatever. I am extremely dedicated and always carry a lunchbox with me with my meals so I think that covers it up pretty well. I try to always maintain plausable deniability I guess.

Wife knows and a few close friends. That’s it. No one else needs to know.

I am just on TRT (100mg E4D), but I am really open about it to just about everyone. I try to convince a lot of my male friends to go get tested and get on TRT. I tell them that if you are over 30 and don’t want kids, there is really no reason to NOT be on TRT.

If I were to take other anabolics besides test, I would keep that to myself unless someone close to me asked about results from TRT. I would want to be honest and not give them a false sense of what TRT can do.

I’m on TRT and my wife didn’t know until she found an order I made for syringes. At that point there wasn’t much of an excuse so I came clean, lol. Luckily she took it well as I explained it has basically changed my life for the better. If we had been fighting a lot or I had been having mood swings or something of that nature I’m sure it would be been a tricky situation though. But honestly I’ve never felt more stable in my life.

My wife and parents know. My wife is cool with test but thinks any other compound contributes to my anger. Honestly I’m about done with blasting as I don’t really see the need. Never ran tren. I do have some vials left of colonials ultimate bulk blend and will probably use later this year.
It’s annoying. I’d like to blast my ass off once on tren but it isn’t worth the hassle at home.

My friends from high school I started doing PEDs with are the only ones who know about my use.
Similar to @JDLift, all my past gf’s suspected I was on. They would make comments or give me funny looks when the topic of gear came up. My natty card is too precious to give up.

Wife knows. A lot of friends know. My mom knows. My dad doesn't know, probably suspects it but doesn't care enough to ask. I'm open about it.

My wife doesn’t know. I hide it very well.

The majority or pretty much the entirety of the average person would not; nor could fathom the idea of sticking a needle in their ass, thigh, shoulder etc etc. so with that being said. They think otherwise.

Believe it or not there’s a huge world out there that doesn’t realize you can buy scheduled items over the internet.

This concept although it has been around since the AOL era is still relatively new.

Also take into effect the majority of us don’t look like Ronnie Coleman or any IFBB type size. If you are, then yeah that’s a big indication. But most of us from the perspective of an average person would be called “fitness obsessed”…..
