No, absolutely not. Honestly, just put it in the same travel kit. They can't legally ask you about any medications and I would be surprised if they even open your travel kit. If you don't want to do that, then just put it in your carry on.

So technically, you can travel with needles in carry on. And as stated, legally they aren’t supposed to be able to ask you about meds. However, I personally wouldn’t risk it going through the scanner and giving them reason. Throw it in checked bags and leave it be. No need to worry there imo. I’ve flown into Nola, Hawaii, and houston with pins and gear. I would just try not to take a brand new vial of anything if you can manage it. Or transfer a couple mL’s into a sterile vial if you only have new ones. All depends how long you’ll be gone and how much you’re pinning.

To be fair, needles and vials in checked luggage is more of a flag. No one who needs to take medicine would ever risk it getting lost in a suitcase by an airline. Medicine is almost always carried by the passenger in hand luggage. It’s everyday normal and not at all what the TSA are looking for

Man, everyone I have talked to on other forums say the checked luggage is the way to go. You cant bring pins in your carry on, technically.

@nerco What about buying more and having your source ship it to where ever you are going to be?

Dunno why you would do carry on and have your shit go through a scanner. Just check it, put a lock on your bag, and you’ll be fine. I’ve checked test and needles before without a problem

Even though the thread is two years old, the general TSA guidelines for carrying liquids and travel kits haven't changed significantly. It's still essential to adhere to the rules regarding the size and packaging of liquids in your carry-on bag. When it comes to oils, it's best to pack larger containers in your checked baggage to avoid any potential issues. For the most up-to-date information, you can always refer to the TSA website. If you're planning a trip to Savannah, you can still explore some fantastic activities there. Check out this link for ideas: https://tripsavannah.com/savannah-activities. Enjoy your family vacation!

Just put them in your checked bags. They don't go through your luggage on a domestic flight.
