Favorite source for raws? Also after mixing with Ba Bb Carrier Oil I am paranoid about losing potency with too much heat, best ways to prevent that and dissolve with minimum heat? Maybe I am overthinking it I’ve seen a brewer use his microwave lol

I use an electric griddle. No way to control heat with a microwave but the griddle has a dial to control heat. Most raws have high boiling points and are fine but I know tren can be very finicky and will lose potency if overheated.

@SynnergyForge has amazing raws. I would invest in an electric hot plate, you can find some nice cheap ones.

I use a candle warmer / coffee mug warmer for brewing, if you’re worried about using too much heat you should be able to just let everything dissolve by itself overnight without cooking it. Really the only reason I use any heat at all is to speed things up a little and make filtering easier, I almost exclusively use Castor Oil so shits thick.

I use gaggenau electric stove tops at 3. - 4 setting and a termometer, Really works great and I can just put beaker on top

@MiniFridge That’s an excellent idea. What type of coffee mug warmer do you use? I have never owned one or the candle warmer so any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Also, how potent is the smell after the brew?

A candle warmer is nice and doesn’t get too hot

Candle warmers can get as hot as 230 F. I have used them in the past, but you’re better off using something that allows you to actually control and monitor temperature.

I think water baths where the base of the beaker or vials don’t touch the heating surface work for a more even and controllable temperature that doesn’t intensely focus heat in one spot.

Obviously molecular bonds are stronger for base compounds than they are for longer esters which don’t tolerate heat as well. Using heat to dissolve can go to the extreme if you don’t pay attention.

If you have an electric stove, just fill a pan with water and let it heat up. Get one of those $15 IR thermometers (the kind with a 1000 F range, not the ones for checking fevers) off Amazon and turn off the stove when the water is around 140 F.

Before I got a legit set up… I used my microwave and a digital stainless steel meat thermometer… 10-30second intervals… check temp stir…
I never was fond of water near my oil…one drop and boom … it’s fucked up… can get really cloudy…and I’ve read a few other symptoms of water during brewing…
