Simple question, hoping someone can answer. I mixed my hcg and my tb500 today but forgot to put it in the fridge for about 4hrs. It didn’t get hot and was in about a 60 degree room. Has it gone bad?

Is it in bacteriostatic water?

EDIT - If it's in bacteriostatic water, it's fine. These compounds function at body temperature so we know they're thermally stable there. A few minutes outside of a refrigerator isn't going to harm them; it's still a lot cooler. The worry is bacterial degradation of the peptide. If it's not in bacteriostatic water, I would expect some degree of degradation. There would also be a microbial population within the vial, so you can expect potency to continue to decline over time.

So when the vials don’t have BAC water in them they still need to be in the fridge? I thought they only needed to be refrigerated once the BAC water is used to reconstitute them and when they’re still in powder form you keep them in cool dry place out of sunlight, and only when the BAC water is used to reconstitute them is when you need to store them in the fridge?

Oh, so they were completely dry? Completely fine. My mistake.

Microbial degradation is the big worry with peptides, since they're proteins and most common environmental microbes have no trouble cleaving proteins and eating the amino acids. That's essentially not a concern without water available. Some people reconstitute in sterile water, without any anti-microbial, which *can* work if you keep your shit cold all the time, but is a disaster otherwise -- lose your shit for sure, give yourself an infection pretty likely.

But nah, you're good.

In a nutshell, I put BAC water (sterile water) in the HCG and the TB500 and left them in a room for 4.5hrs without refrigeration and I’m wondering if they are affected. The room temp was 60-65. They were not exposed to sunlight
