How to reduce dosage of AI?

I have 1 mg caps of AI. Can I just open them and take the powder if I want to use 0.25 mg? If they were tablets I could cut them but for caps is it ok to consume the powder directly? Does it change the uptake? Should I look for a gelatin cap to resize them? I haven’t seen caps in lower dose age and want to make sure I titrate upwards only if needed.

You can break them open and ingest the powder.

Almost all gel caps will be dissolved by 20 minutes or so, at which point the powder is dispersed anyway. There are some that are more durable, so they only dissolve once they've passed through the stomach, but the goal there is simply to maximize absorption; in the worst case you waste half a cap of meds. It's incredibly unlikely that's the case here, but you can always open a cap, pop it into water, and see how quickly it dissolves. If it's not there tomorrow, you're good.

As a rule, extended release or multi-med formulations are the only ones you don't want to cut or crush, and those are typically prepared in tablets with special binders.

If you are trying to reduce the need for an AI in general, pinning more frequently will give you less e2 spikes. I pin test c EOD and I definitely noticed lower e2 symptoms. Also I can pin less oil which is nice
