Hey everyone,
I’ve finally decided to post here because I really need your help.
I’m 28 years old, weigh 79 kg, and would describe myself as skinny fat. I’ve been working out on and off for 3–4 years, but I’ve been more consistent for almost 2 years now. I even trained with a personal trainer for 6 months, spent a lot of money, but unfortunately didn’t see the results I was hoping for.

Lately, I’ve stopped going to the gym and started doing 300 push-ups a day at home — and oddly enough, I’m seeing better results with that.

That said, I’m at a point where I feel desperate to transform my body — not just to be stronger, but to feel confident in myself. So, I’m seriously considering starting my steroid journey. The problem is, I don’t know where to begin.

Could someone please guide me on:
• How to get started safely
• Where to buy from a reliable source in Canada
• What compounds are less harmful but still effective
• And whether it’s possible to stop using steroids once I’ve reached my body goals

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences you’re willing to share. Thanks in advance.

I'm seeing nothing about your diet. You can't out-exercise a bad diet. And just because you overeat doesn't mean you're getting enough protein. Neither may apply to you, but this is super common. I did it myself.

No. No steroids.

Read about training. You have no idea what you’re doing. Steroids won’t make it better for you. Better training will make it better.

www.liftvault.com is a good resource.

Jordan Peters has a series of videos that are very good. This is content most people charge money for. Here’s part 1 of like 9. Watch all of them.

My experience- end of 2024, I was in your shoes. Mid thirties, athletic fat, active, no diet, and bad/no training.

An injury real early in year put me over the edge, and I started to feel real shitty about myself. I wrongly looked to PEDs thinking they were the answer. I made a few dumb, impulsive purchases….The only benefit was that they got me working out slightly harder… you know, a month or two before I was going to start using them (dumb)

Then I found this board (to make more impulse purchases). Didn’t make an account, but would read, trying to learn as much as possible before I took anything. In that time I realized:
1. Many of the active members are real people..many are extremely knowledgeable, most believe in responsible use and harm reduction.
2. This is not a shilling board, despite the name of the website.
3. You will hear not what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. It’s sincere.

Then after reading many posts like yours and the feedback you and others received…It resonated with me. (Especially after getting bloodwork done, and expecting low T. I had essentially already “self prescribed” myself to TRT….NOPE, T was completely normal.

I had to look in the mirror and have the revelation- that I was just a lazy piece of shit that wasn’t putting in work. Simple as that. Steroids won’t fix that. Steroids won’t fix lifestyle. Why put your body through the harm and risk, and not look like you take them?! I felt like an idiot- I was uneducated, LAZY, and not ready on so many levels. I made goal to get where I needed to be to eventually take them, and became more motivated in the gym.

So from mid january, I have made incredible progress. Complete body recompositon with only using Retatrutide 1mg/wk for one month. The results are addicting, and just further fuels my motivation to keep going.

I eventually made an account here, and realized a couple things along the way. I’m still a long way away from needing and/or wanting to take them.

1. My training (although improved) is no where close where it needs to be to take steroids.
2. My diet and lifestyle are no where close to being ready to take steroids.
3. The body composition I’m looking for currently - does not require steroids.
4. I don’t want to be married to needle for the rest of my life, yet
5. Fertility

I’m here to continue to learn about many different aspects of health and fitness, but also PEDs. It provides additional motivation (and helps kill the time once you cut out social media). I participate sometimes to test my knowledge- because If you’re wrong, someone will tell you (best way to learn)

I apologize for the soapbox, but I wanted to try and give you a real and relatable story.

Closing piece

You don’t need steroids- you need to become motivated and start putting in work. Find the motivation! Whatever that may be

You’re essentially only renting a physique with steroids. They’re addicitng, and most just don’t do it once.

There are no safe steroids. There are risks and it’s never guaranteed you will be the same after taking them. 28 is pretty fucking young to be married to a needle for the rest of your life. You want kids?

Look, I’m just a stranger behind a keyboard. I wish you the best in whatever direction you choose.
