Janoshik opsec warning

I emailed Janoshik once more than a year ago. I never used his service and never contacted him again.

Last night I was randomly CC’d on an email Janoshik sent to a client. I could see this client’s name, phone number, and the business he owns. I told Janoshik what happened last night, and this morning it happened AGAIN with a different client. I was CC’d on the email.

I’ve never used Janoshik, thankfully, but it pisses me off to randomly get sent a DOX like that. Ridiculous.

You were accidentally CC’d two emails saying “samples received” with literally nothing else in them due to Tutanota bug, that I’ve started a ticket for.
I am quite sorry it happened, but it literally is not my fault and nothing sensitive was leaked at all.

I’m not sure why you’d overstate what kind of info you’ve gotten from it, but well, suit yourself.
If anybody thinks they’ve been affected by this bug they can simply check emails from me for this guys email in the CC and complain publicly.

It actually is your fault, you choose how you run your business. Your opsec is bad, my dude. “Nothing sensitive was leaks” hahaha… I guess that you win on that one because posting my proof would be DOXing.

But seriously, there are manufacturers who use your service, and to them, opsec is extremely important. All I did was warn them, and they deserve to know. I didn’t post this story to harm you. I think you run a great service. You just have bad opsec, but that doesn’t matter for the vast majority of your customers.

Do you have any proof that you can show the moderators to demonstrate sensitive information was leaked to you?

I’ve tested items several time with Jano… I’m interested to see the proof for this one also.

Or is @Ondansetron assumingly a compulsive liar who tried to tarnish Jano's name because he was too broke to afford getting his gear tested.

We try to keep thread/post deletion to an absolute minimum, with almost all application being complete spam or vending without permission. Anyone can view this thread and make from it what they will, I don't think Janoshik is losing any business on account of it!
