I’m new to this but have been weight training for years. Just now after going through some medical issues, I’m looking to get my body ready for competition. Where do I start? I’d like to understand test and what it can do for me and what if anything I need with it. A solid source would be helpful too! Thanks

If you’re asking this in this way, you don’t need gear. You need to learn more about diet and training.

We aren't gonna spoon-feed you OP; You need to do some reading. You found a gear source board so you can definitely find informational sources. Go read up for a while and get a baseline understanding of things, then come back here to ask specific questions.

Hypertrophy training, HIIT training, & lookup 5 x 5 training method. Checkout Darebee.com they have a book called 100 hiit workouts that is da bomb 💣

Bodybuilding, powerlifting, chess? Cmon man, how could anyone give an answer to an incomplete question?

In any scenario, you should probably do a lot of reading before considering injecting yourself with anything.
