Love this new category and hope to exchange meal prep ideas. I prep all the meals for household of 5 adults and I can get pretty tired of my own cooking. Always seeking inspiration.

Have been on a big poached chicken kick lately. Throw 6 or 8 breasts in large pot. Fill with cold water. Add aromatics/some dry seasoning and salt. Bring to boil for about 3 minutes then return to simmer for another 5 then Remove heat and let cool down to room temp(about an hour) Slice them whole like a roast. Cube them and mix with greek yogurt and pickle juice to make healthy chicken salad. Shred it cold and reheat in sauté pan. Versatile and always in stock in frig for any ideas.

Thx for jumping on this thread. I like the idea of yogurt as a base for chicken salad because the poached chicken can be so dry. I'll try that.

Started working on different diet needs as my family has some intolerances for whey, lactose and tree nuts. Makes planning a little challenging but maybe we can share some recipes as well?

Me too. I can eat anything but family has Lots of allergies. I prep a lot of basics so they can easily assemble their own meals. For instance, poki bowls...I prep meat, veggies, rice, etc and make various home made sauces...soy free, dairy free, nut free....another example is tacos. Assemble your own.

Precook ground beef it doesn’t take too long and lasts longer than precooked boneless chicken which starts to taste worse faster in my opinion

Homemade sauces and condiments: My spicy green sauce is just 3-4 roasted, seeded jalapeños , 2 bunches of cilantro and lime juice...about 1/4 cup. Add just enough water to create a sauce and blend till smooth. Freeze in ice trays so you always have portions on hand.

That sounds amazing. I usually resort to cholula on everything to keep sodium in check.

Every Sunday I hard boil eggs, cook ground beef and turkey (lb each), bbq chicken breast and make my rice. Nothing fancy here but the air fryer is the best shit ever. Need to get another one.

My wife and I meal prep on Sunday. She likes flavor on her food, I cook mine bare with nothing. We portion everything out. I just use pink sault and g hughes sauces. I monitor my b.p., enhanced, and IF anything starts to change I can pull sauce and salt out without wasting my food. PLUS, when I get bored of a sauce, I don't have to waste a weeks worth of food.

My husband is allergic to freaking everything so I prep everything portioned but separate and bland. That way, we can add our own sauces and seasonings and my diet is not limited to his.
