Hello all,

I’m considering running 2Iu of GH for a year. Never got around to using it before. Currently on 200 cyp, 100primo, and 2mg of Reta a week.

The cost of GH is why id plan on sticking to 2IU for a year. Curious as I know many of you guys here have been on GH for a long time now what you think.

I see potential side effects could be edema/fluid retention and possibly becoming insulin resistant and diabetic. Is this mainly a risk for heavier guys who run GH at much higher dose than 2IU a night?

My fasted glucose was 103 a few months ago which isn’t great but I was always pounding a ton of rice down too. But I’m dropping a bit of weight with Reta to get out of that pre diabetic range. Over 100 glucose is apparently pre diabetic.

You know the worst part? I’m 6 foot and like 175. The fact my glucose is that high despite being lean tells me I don’t have the genetics to be a mass monster bodybuilder who weighs 200 or more.

These fears are legitimate concerns or am I just over thinking things?

How old are you? 2 ius is generally a replacement dose used by older guys.
I’m 35 and work in a physically demanding job where I not only keep up with 18-25 year olds, but I can out work most of them. But yeah, I’m not exactly young anymore.

I’ve heard many wise guys who been in the fitness community for a long time say old guys shouldn’t mess with much besides test primo and GH as they are well tolerated.

GH is well tolerated but you’re just not going to get a whole lot out of 2 iu. If cost is a concern you might want to pass on it.

How is your blood glucose so elevated while on Reta? You should consider having that tested again to confirm. That doesn’t seem right.

Oh that elevated glucose was tested like 2 months ago. I just began reta 2 weeks ago and tomorrow I’ll be starting week 3 at 2mg a week. I was bulked up to like 188 when I got that blood work done and it showed high glucose.

I’m sure my glucose has gone down since starting reta because I’ve been feeling full quicker and eating less. Reta from a source here has helped.

Might just hold off on GH for now though like you said. Money could go towards more primo instead.
