[Source Complaint] Amino Asylum (05/28/2022)

I posted this on Reddit, but I figured I’d share it with you guys as well, seeing as this is a much more refined community. This is my first post so I apologize if I got something wrong, I tried to follow the rules as well as I could.

This story has been a long time coming: So I started an undisclosed cycle months ago, and one of the items I decided to incorporate is trestolone acetate. I purchased a vial of it in December from amino asylum, and received it not too long after. I examined the vial, and I found a short curly hair inside of it while the vial was still sealed. I contacted them and received a new vial without any sort of apology. Prior to this, I had received a vial of L-carnitine with a longer hair trapped in between the vial and the label, and received a replacement for that as well. The reason I got a replacement is that they stated they do not give out refunds, which was somewhat frustrating considering I didn’t know how much to trust their items, especially sterile ones at this point.

Now, I received the second vial of trestolone, and guess what? There was a hair and a tiny piece of orange debris in it. I was shocked. This time I received an apology, and an assurance that “we have a very secure clean lab. doesn't happen oftem”.

This is not only dangerous, but disgusting and a horrible business practice for a company to have.

Never understood why people shill them so hard on countless boards. I've now heard of contaminated vials that were supposed to be "sterile" from them at least a half dozen times. When coupled with their history of mislabeling and underdosing products this is enouh to never use or recommend them. One time I ordered from them the oral came in a shitty ethanol suspension that tasted awful and only held for 5-10 seconds after shaking, making proper dosing practically impossible. Not even OraPlus or something. Apparently when asked why they don't have any quality control they stated their reputation "speaks for itself". Well it sure as shit does but not how they implied..

That’s a very good point, their reputation does speak for itself but not in the way they think. I got tadalafil that you need to shake it and dose within 5-10 seconds otherwise it all falls out of solution to the bottom. While I’m sure that works for some, it didn’t feel like it was dosed correctly compared to my prescribed tadalafil. Either way, I’ve been spreading the news as far and wide as I can so that people can at the very least make an informed decision. It’s worrisome to say the least that they have so many sponsors among the negative reviews. I even told one and they thought it was messed up, but didn’t stop being their sponsee.

I now have a picture in my head of three college guys from AA getting their pubes in vials they call "sterile" and mixing untested oral raws from Ali Express with the little ever clear they have left over from their last frat party and selling that as a "solution" online.

I think my oral came in a PG solution, no ethanol, but it’s a shitty half assed suspension either way. If I posted a picture of the tadalafil, you’d see almost clear liquid with a pile of powder at the bottom which isn’t a true suspension to my knowledge, since it’s supposed to be at least somewhat evenly “suspended” in solution.

To be honest, it took me so long to post it because I don’t like complaining, then I completely forgot about it until this current cycle. I think they get full on free products which they use for the affiliate program, but I don’t know what goes on beyond that. I’m sure getting free peptides and gear must be nice, but why would you want to use it if it has that possibility of causing harm? Either way, it’s the risk each person has to assess for themselves each time they purchase from any company. I’m curious to see what experience others have had regarding them.

I appreciate you speaking up and adding your two cents, I think we need all the honesty we can get here.

To me it looks more like a synthetic fiber instead of a hair but either way it’s not good. I’d probably still pin it if it was just a synthetic fiber of some sort but I wouldn’t feel good about it.

Ive never even heard of this source but I think I’ll avoid in the future. Thanks for sharing. I don’t like complaining about products either but sometimes it’s the right play.

Had a great run of quality sources that entire time until my last few orders with 3 different sources around the same time. I’m on a few other gear boards but I like how this one works. Seems most of the sources here are squared away and members hold them accountable from what I can tell.

Wanted to tap back in and say 100%. I've noticed some other boards *cough* eRoids *cough* are run by sources and practically crucify anyone that doesn't have a completely positive experience. Their very reason of existence is to promote sources. Whereas it seems SST is actually about holding sources accountable and only bringing in reliable sources into the spotlight, not the highest bidder. I'm new to these boards though too so that's just my initial impression.

I thought they were decent but I had no idea they had QC problems like that. I will say their liquid suspensions suck like other people said already, taste awful and don't last long. What I don't understand is why they go the liquid route to begin with, why not just make them into pills? No taste and accurate dosage.

They have a lot of the affiliate stuff and that's where I learned about them. Thought they were trustworthy because mpmd was pushing them.

They use liquid solutions so they can legally sell them. I’ve had tadalafil from them, and it seemed to work.

Hello All ....
My first post, forgive me for any goofs.
I really wish I would have seen this a few days ago. Does anyone have any experience with Aminos SARMS?
I just placed my 1st order with them, for Cardarine and 'ADEX' (Arimidex). I'm now definitely worried about the Adex dosage, so little room for error, dose needs to be accurate. As far as the Cardarine, I'm now worried about it dosage too. Especially considering the pricing.

I thought I would quickly update about my 1st order. Received very quickly. Both the Cardarine & Arimidex are in an ethanol suspension. Unfortunately, there is a small cloud which needs shaking and draw within seconds. Taste doesn't matter to me(but it is a bit rough).
My main concern is dosage. Especially considering cost. It would be great to see some lab data. They are nearly 1/2 the cost of main competition.
One thing that bothered me, the labels were crooked on the bottle. Sure this isn't a big deal, but professionalism starts with that. I'll update after I get a feel for the dosage.
Regardless, it was worth a try. Fast shipping, quick reply to questions. I guess I'll find out the quality soon enough.

First, this isn't so much a complaint as it is a curiosity. I'm hoping this thread will help get some info out there. Experience with them had been great. Excellent catalog, prices, ship time, customer service, etc.
I just don't have strong confidence in dosages of products. I contacted them again about sharing any data but was told they can't. I plan to continue to use them until I get a better feel for what's going on.

They seem like a great company. IDK why they won't spend a few bucks on 3rd party data?

They seem to be all over the place now. They had a strong start and just took a nosedive into mediocrity. Some good products, some bad... roll the dice. I bought quite a bit from them earlier on, SR9009, NAC (when they had it), Glutathione (Liver Restore), Carnosine, Carnitine, and Arimidex. The Arimidex was garbage, but the other stuff seemed mostly fine. I know one person used their T3 recently to good effect. Only reason I'd buy from AA now is if someone else didn't have what I wanted. Same reason I bought Semaglutide from Peptide Sciences... no one else had it at the time. I ordinarily would not buy from PS.

You mentioned the Arimidex was trash? I actually just got out from them. So far, I haven't had any estrogen issues, but I wanted it on hand.
I'm curious what the issue was? Not dosed properly? I noticed like the Cardarine it has a cloud of something. Needs shaken and dosed quickly.
I'm now a bit worried that I should get it from another supplier?
