[Source Complaint] DashPCT (9/12/22)

Hey Dash,

I placed an international order on 8/29 and delivery was scheduled to come yesterday 9/12. The status showed out for delivery in the morning but when I checked the mail later in the day, I had mail in the box except for the package. Around 6pm the status updated to “No such number” “incorrect address” “return to sender.” I’ve been in contact through email about the situation and was advised to reach out to the post office which I did first thing this morning. I gave them the tracking # and showed them my ID and they said that the address on the card doesn’t match the shipping address that was on the label and that the return process was already in place and not at the post office that delivers my mail. I’ve placed orders before and had no issues using the same address as everything matches up correctly on my end. I’m waiting on a response from the emails regarding the next step to help resolve this issue and wanted you to also be aware of what’s going on.

I can provide past order #s along with this one if you need to show that everything is as it should be from my end and there’s an issue here.

I copy and pasted my post in the sources thread. 3 days later and I still haven’t heard back through email or in that thread regarding this issue.

Heya - we're just waiting on the label from our courier to see what happened here. We usually don't get the address wrong, so we want to check if we were indeed at fault on this. If so, we'll reship it, no problemo. Our courier is out for a little vacation, so he's a bit slow.

If it turns out however that it was written correctly on the package, we might need you to use another address, since for whatever reason, the postal office did not want to deliver to you.

How often does that last part happen? I’ve ordered before and it came in with no issues to the same address. Worst case scenario I can use another address for reship, it’s just strange that this would have an issue.

Not very often, if at all.

I can provide proof showing previous orders with the same exact address used as this one along with the the tracking showing that this is being returned to sender due to incorrect address so there’s a disconnect somewhere. I did everything correctly on my end. I think there’s a very low chance the mail man, who’s the same guy that’s been delivering my mail for years, just decided to not deliver this one thing. How long will this courier be on vacation before there’s some type of resolution to this? The customer service aspect hasn’t exactly been up to par for my standards. I understand shit happens but this has been a bit laissez faire

Sure, just reply to our email thread or email me a new one titled "SST" and i'll get to it.

Regardless, the courier is out for a couple days, so any package wont go out till Monday.

Just replied in the email exchange that was ongoing with the info

Monday came and went. No response of acknowledgment from the email I sent Friday detailing all the info with order #s and proof of no error on my end. Nothing today either when the courier was reported to be back. At this point I’d rather just get a refund and take my business elsewhere

Can I get a tracking ID for the reshipment? Looked on my account and didn’t see anything as shipped.

So you save/keep your customer data?
Shortsighted question. Customer data is cycled and wiped after 1.5 years, but you also have the choice under your account to delete your data at anytime, or request it by email. Obviously, if you do, we won't have information to help you in your claims. Your data is on a secure, Chinese based server with us. Besides the CCP, we're the only ones who have access to this data.
Its better keeping your data on our server than some Swiss email server of Proton, but thats just my take. Would be incredibly shortsighted of us instead to delete your data right after you order.
