What are your thoughts for weight loss ?



Tirzepatide, or Semaglutide?



The last year I’ve been battling chronic cluster headaches and a few really bad injuries. I’d like to drop some weight before getting back on the wagon. I’m on TRT so blasting and cruising is easy me - any suggestions ?



I’d like to drop around 25 to 30 pounds.

My typical recommendation is to start with Semaglutide at 0.25mg per week, tapering up by 0.25mg every 2 weeks as side effects permit and appetite necessitates. For example if you start at 0.25mg per week and find the appetite suppression is sufficient, don't increase the dose. Similarly if you get up to 0.5mg but you're feeling nauseous, hold at this dose for a little longer before ramping up further.

They're usually quite well tolerated compounds so you aren't going to be making a terrible decision if you decide to go Tirzepatide first instead, and they share a similar side effect profile with the biggest nuisance tending to be nausea, though rarely enough to bug most people at introductory doses.

I have never forced us to take a break before and we are (I am) really struggling with the volume of emails and tracking inventory. Should be back to normal soon but if you're not in a rush, hey, it's okay. Take a week!

If anyone is missing a response on an email please 1) make sure you're using a Protonmail or Tutanota account. I have a good 20-30 emails from gmail/hotmail users who I am happily ignoring right now, if that sounds familiar, you know what to do! and 2) if you have emailed via a secure email address and I haven't responded, feel free to double up on me. I wouldn't deliberately ignore you but if I went to go check on inventory for your order and didn't get back to it, I wouldn't get mad about a nudge.
