I do want to take a minute to make sure expectations are clearly set. You will see a lot of positive comments about our responsiveness, quick shipping, et cetera. We value and appreciate that praise, because we work hard to set high standards. All that said we are now heading into the final 3 weeks before Christmas. It is the busiest time of the year for the mail system. Canada Post is also on strike. We are adapting, we have ensured every single order has been shipped within 1 business day, and we will continue that effort. Please
do not be shocked if we begin to see delays in the parcel network over the next few weeks. Those millions of parcels that would have been shipped with Canada Post are now being diverted through various couriers who will struggle to handle the additional volume.
Again, we will continue to pay more money to accommodate shipping by couriers. We will continue to ship all orders as quickly as we can. But if it snows heavily in Wasaga and a parcel takes 3 business days because of that, please be patient. If parcels are dropped off at noon on Wednesday but not picked up or sorted until Thursday night, please be patient.
If you have any concerns about tracking or shipping during this time, please feel free to reach me at
[email protected]. I'm here to help! But let's manage expectations. That's the only gift I want this Christmas
Cheers
