* Sterilization And Precautions *
All glassware is cleaned and sterilized before brewing begins. All beakers, graduated cylinders and media jugs go in an isopropyl alcohol bath and distilled water bath, followed by dry heat at 450F.
The dry heat oven was purchased new and only has one purpose, being sterilization. After sterilization all media jugs are capped and placed under an updraft flow hood to await filtering, then vialing.
All vials are sterile RTF and opened under the same hood. Stoppers, plastic and bottle top fillers undergo the same process but are dry heat sterilized at 140c for 1-2 hours.
* Brewing *
Oils are brewed checking measurements by weight via a calibrated scale. Calibration is checked weekly. Unless otherwise noted oils only contain ba and bb. As little solvent is used as possible.
Filtering into media bottles is done via bottle top filters. This method has produced flawless oils for quite some time. Whatman zapcap .22 are used. These are changed every liter or more often.
Liquid suspension orals are produced in a similar fashion. A small amount of PEG is used as a solvent and humco plus flavor makes up the rest of the suspension. Several of these products will be added as time goes on.
