Synergy Forge scam 12/2/21

A while back I ordered from Synergy when my normal source wasn’t available and all was ok.

So I reached out to make another order.

Wouldn’t give me zelle option as it was advertised for payment. Gave me Venmo instead. transaction failed on their end twice. So they gave me PayPal to use instead. I confirmed address before I sent payment, $1530.00. Payment posted, and cleared. Two weeks ago. Now saying money wasn’t received, and won’t fulfill order.

Have email thread with screenshots of everything, money sent, etc etc.

I always struggle with first post complaints. Particularly against well established sources. I personally have spent thousands in the last year without issue on the named source.

What was the exact email address you used to contact source?
Also, getting an email from a reputable source that would tell you to use PayPal should have been a definite red flag to you. I am doubting that you were communicating with the actual source….

I didnt think paypal was a option. I don’t think you talking to the correct one

Well, BTC was preferred method, but I have no clue how that stuff works, and have used Zelle, venmo, WU, all sorts of ways from sources off here. so it wasn’t that big of a red flag. Being as the last order there was a delay and I was told to possibly pay through another customer close to my area and he would do the btc payment for me. My normal source is local, so online orders are “fairly” new to me In general.

Could have been a fake, if so, that’s fine as well. If it keeps someone else from ordering from the same fake address.

Thanks for sharing with the community but looks like you didn’t use that source’s current correct email and may have gotten scammed , but not by the named source. Like you said, at the very least, maybe this is a reminder to anyone who sees your post to double check the correct email listed on the source’s 1st page.

Well, then that is my mistake, and this is just a Heads up. Someone goin around makin cash of non-internet friendly folks like me. Name seemed right, price sheet was identical, same format etc, and types very damn similar.

On that note; at this point, I need about $2500 worth of an order, if any of y’all who are more experienced at this online stuff than I am have any suggestions on best source to go through here. point me their direction lol… thank you guys for clearing that up.

Why not try reaching out to Syn (at the listed email addy on his 1st page) chances are, unless he sees this thread, he likely will not even know what’s going on with your situation. He is one of the best sources on the board (also why some scammers would want to take advantage of his namesake in some ways)

Have seen similar complaints. There seems to be a scam email floating around that has nothing to do with SF. Mentioned source is my go to. Never an issue. Fast, reliable, great quality.

Hello, and let me start by saying thank you to the person that alerted me to this post. I had no idea it was there. I don’t get a lot of time to surf the site. I am pleased that you were able to find your solution and where things went wrong. The community is great like that. Luckily for you, you used Paypal, so all you have to do is get in touch with Paypal and they can reverse the charges if it’s within the correct time frame. 30 days I think? Not sure exactly, but definitely get your money back.

Would ever take PayPal, let alone Venmo!!!

Syn is great at working with you for alternative payment options , but never PayPal/venmo etc where you can reverse , can easily be tracked on both sides etc. I will not mention some of the other payment options but he does work with you, speaking from personal experience

listen i sent cash in the mail without tracking (stupid i know but i was in a rush) and it was pretty high amount, i still got my order. so i have 100% trust.

Haha, well your first clue should be someone accepting PayPal. Absolutely no way on this earth would any lab do that

I know this is an old thread, but just want to also say that Syn is an absolute solid source. I’ve never had any issue ordering from him.
