I pinned 1cc of 250 Test-C last Friday and today I noticed a tender hardness/lump area under the skin at the injection site while in the shower. It doesn't stop me from doing anything and I only noticed it today, five days after injection. Is this just something that goes away eventually? There is no redness or anything noticeable from just looking at it.

Ensure you’re using sterile technique when injecting:

Watch for signs of infection:

How much did you inject? I often feel a lump until the oil is absorbed. It takes a few days.

How long was the needle? You should be using at least a 1 inch. You can go longer for deep IM sights like dorsal and ventral gluteal — ass and hip. Each site also has somewhat of a limit on injection volume. You wouldn’t typically put as much oil in your shoulder as you would hip or ass.

If it doesn’t go away in a few more days, and still no sign of infection, there’s a chance it’s a sterile abscess. Best get it looked at by a physician at that point. With that said, it’ll probably disappear over the next couple days.

I used a one-inch needle and injected 1CC of 250mg test-c. I'm hesitant to bring it up to a doctor because they can put in my records that I used UGL stuff. Not sure where that could lead.

For the record I used alcohol wipes on the vial and injection site twice before drawing and injecting. I have my annual physical soon, might bring it up and might not. Regardless i won't be injecting anything else until this is resolved.

Try massaging the area post injection for a few min. I massage my sites until my fingers hurt.

idk a lot about your process, ugl gear etc. i had eq that cause me to have a small knot on the inj site, just little bumps that were tight and itched. always went away within a week. got eq from a different source and it was PIP free.

test is cheap, goodlyfe has really good stuff. no pip from him yet. get more test and go again. possible the brewing process with the ugl, carrier oil, etc.

when you look in the vial do you see floaters or is it clear?

i wouldnt bring it up with your doc unless he is cool and understands the lifestyle. docs are nothing more than drug dealers for pharma. they will look down on you for "abusing steroids" but will give out enough painkillers to addicts to kill a horse.

some people say that alcohol wipes at 70% doesnt kill the bacteria and germs and that 90% dries too fast. ive used everything with no problem though. just food for thought.

let us know what you do and figure out

I asked the doc about my glute pain but didn't tell her it was an injection thing. She felt it and said maybe I just pulled a muscle and suggested a foam roller! LMAO If she had any street smarts she would have understood I was asking her to evaluate an injection site. Anyway, I have some prescribed antibiotics so I'm taking those for a few days just in hopes of alleviating any potential infection. Like I said, the area looks completely normal, just tender to touch like a bruise and feels sort of tough if you press it. The test-c was clear but I did inject twice because I didn't get all the juice out during the initial injection (newbie). I'm hoping it subsides over the next few days. If it doesn't go away or gets worse I'll bite the bullet and see a doctor about it.

Of it comes down to it, just say you injected B12.

Keeping this updated in case others experience it down the road and find this thread. Today the lump/knot was significantly better. It is still a bit tender and I notice it now and then but it is probably 65% better. I will update again tomorrow.
