Yup he's an influencer and this profession is just another in a long list of useless professions that modern man has arrived at.

That said the issue of Suicide is so complex that it's like most of philosophy in that it has questions that can never be answered, only presuppositions that can be made using religion or dictates by law, all other methods of solving this issue in a modern era where man is realizing just how pointless and absurd life is, where 25% of adults are on some psychoactive drug to cope with the mind numbing experience of running the maze every day to get some cheddar. Modern man has been boxed in, his choices limited, his skills more and more hyperspecialized, so as to make him little more than a tooth on the cog, he suffers from constant anxiety because he knows he lives a rat race that is bullshit with no purpose other than getting some cheese for his rat family.

Anyone that is moderately intelligent and I'm sure Liver King is a smart guy when he's not acting the clown, will ask some of these big questions as to why everything is so F'd up. It's not natural for a living creature to want to take his life. I don't know of any other animal that does, except when they are placed in a cage and start beating their head against the bars to the point they die, that's possible. Humans however are expected to stay in their cage and do as they are told.

As our society moves away from having to do practical things to survive they instead adopt surrogate goals where they artificially challenge themselves in order to experience the power process that earlier times would have been accomplished by building a basic shelter and killing something to eat.

Mankind isn't afforded this luxury anymore, they aren't allowed to exist without justifying their existence in the eyes of those that are parasitic bureaucrats that depend on your ability to commit to a life of wage slavery. So modern man is largely doing things that should make him go completely insane. Can you imagine a gorilla showing up for the same bullshit job everyday for 35 years or a chimp. I don't think you could find another animal on this planet that wouldn't go bonkers doing what we are currently doing, all so we can live a softer life as far removed from the natural elements as possible. Liver King with his primal approach is on to something, but he's leaving off the critical part that you would have to go all the way, not just live a life compartmentalized as a rich land owner with lavish homes, vehicles and boats, and then the next minute playing pretend that you're a caveman when you take off your shirt, swallow a couple of cow testicles and walk around your estate barefoot, knowing full well you have millions in the bank to keep you safe.

If you want to know why people are offing themselves it's largely the Puritans that were strict Calvinists, a group of nutjobs that were kicked out of Europe and sent to the US and when they arrived they brought the idea that those with material wealth and power were blessed by God and those without were cursed. It's a hardcore sadism where you believe humans are depraved, except for the elect that were chosen to live the good life. So when someone is eating a shit sandwich in life, Americans deep in their subconscious think they deserve it, thanks to our lunatic ancestors. America is really just a sadistic hell hole, we have lots of material wealth, but our people are mentally fucked.

The problem is the walls are closing in on all of us. Government and Private/Corporate business are in bed and together they make up the police state.

There are no new ideas, politicians ask that you sacrifice for your country, while at the same time screwing your country over and basically destroying your quality of life. Private/Corporate business is even more sinister in that they run a huge half way house where they keep records for the government. You live your life according to the tax policy for the companies that rule your life.

As for people being shitbags, the board game we're all forced to play is rigged and no one has the guts to toss the game into the air and start over coming up with something better.

It's simple, when you run out of ideas and don't know how to fix problems, it's all just cops bashing people upside the head.

What is the life in America all about other than a library of books filled with laws, that are really just another version of religion. It was the French revolution that showed us that the King is our Corporate Overlords today, the Priests/Clergy are our Lawyers/Judges today. I don't think genetics has as much to do with it as the environment we grow up in and the situations we find ourselves. Like WWI and WW2 guys today would seem like hard asses, but that's the life they grew up in. Genghis Khan had a hellish childhood and he grew up a hard bastard, he was about as close to a wild animal as a human can get, just pure instinct of kill or be killed. Today's kids are naturally soft and that's not their fault that all the danger and fun was removed to prevent lawsuits.
