I purchased 10 vials of semag and 10 vials of HCG from a major supplier.
Both arrived in unlabeled blue top vials with no markings. The caps were identical. I do not know which is semag and which is HCG. The semag will be used by a female so I can’t risk accidentally giving her HCG.
The supplier told me that the vials that contain more powder are the semag.
I was skeptical so I purchased ten HCG test strips (pregnancy tests). I tested the vials after adding the water.
I first test was a control test. I used a vial of pharma HCG. It showed a clear positive result.
I then tested the vials they said are HCG. I tested five times and all came back negative.
I also tested the vials they said were semag. Of the four tests, 3 had a very faint positive line for HCG. One was negative.
I assume this means the vials that tested negative for HCG are the semag. This is the opposite of what the suppler told me. I also assume this means the vials they told me were semag are actually underdosed HCG.
The vendor has said that I must have tested wrong and stuck behind their original explanation.
Any suggestions on how I can figure this out?
