So I did a 500mg per week test E cycle for about 12 weeks and have been cruising at 250mg per week for probably another 10 weeks. I want to do another 10 weeks and then come off. Is that going to be okay to just wait two weeks after stopping and then taking tamoxifen?

That’s a standard pct protocol yes

If I’m understanding you correctly that you want to do 10 more weeks of 250 test I would advise you not to do that and run your pct now. Usually the purpose of blasting and cruising is that you don’t need to get fully off the gear or pct. In my opinion you should make a decision now wether you want to blast and cruise or if you are going to cycle fully on and off. If you choose to blast and cruise I would continue running your current 250 test or even lower it to 200 until you are ready to blast again. If you want to cycle on and off I don’t believe 250 test is enough to justify having your natural production shut down (this is up for debate though). Also in the future if you go the cycle on and off route I would limit your cycles to 8-10 weeks, 22 weeks of test is going to be a pain in the ass for you to recover from and I really suggest if you plan on getting off to do it now and not make it harder by going to 32. But aside from my unsolicited advise, yes that pct would be fine.

Should I have concerns about my test production being permanently shut off?
Nope you’ll be just fine, test production almost always comes back even for guys who’ve been on for years. But the longer your cycle the longer it takes to get production back so you might feel like shit for a while but it will come back.

People who run gear for years most likely won’t ever go back to what they were producing before gear. I started AAS at a young age (18-19) and I quit around age 23-24. I got blood work done when I was age 25 and was around 180-220ng/dl. I could never get back to optimal testosterone levels naturally again and had to go on TRT. And as of recent I decided to blast again but this time with a hell of a lot more knowledge.

Don’t think after quitting AAS you’ll just go back to producing 900ng/dl.
