What's your morning BGC? When should one be concerned? What have been your best methods to lower it, or keep it within a reasonable range?
To add to what sector said I would also take 1000mg of cinnamon with every meal it helps.Usually high 80s or low 90s (ng/dl)
If you’re constantly near or over 100 definitely start doing something different
Cardio should be in year round regardless of bulking or cutting
Id probably utilize berberine first, even before blood sugar becomes an issue. Good for insulin sensitivity too
Metformin is a good 2nd line of defense
Then of course you could go the glp or insulin route if that’s not enough. It really depends on how many ius of growth your on and how many carbs you’re pushing
The goal should always be to maximize insulin sensitivity
Better add fasting lead levels to your checks. To add to what sector said I would also take 1000mg of cinnamon with every meal it helps.
Get a CGM. Really eye opening to watch insulin response in real time.I want to add one thing. I bought a meter at Walmart and monitored my fasting bg every morning. It was around 100. However, when in got actual bloodwork at LabCorp it was 85 which is what it's been forever.
So, I don't trust the cheap meters very much. I should also add in that when I do real bloodwork I'm ACTUALLY fasted, like 12 hours. My daily routine isn't to go 12 hours without eating. I failed to check my bg at home the last time I did fasted bloodwork to compare. Next time, I'll check it immediately before my blood draw.
I want one. I've looked into it and the cost is something I just don't want to pay. I don't have any documented issues relating to it so in can't get my doctor to prescribe it for me.Get a CGM. Really eye opening to watch insulin response in real time.
