I'd been eating a lot of canned tuna fish. Kirkland brand, comes in an 8 pack of large cans. 43g protein per can. I was making a sandwich for lunch everyday with a can of tuna.
I asked my doctor to run a mercury blood test, he told me I should just stop eating so much tuna. I insisted on the test though. My result came back at 1.7 ug/L. 6 ug/L is where it's unsafe. It makes me wonder what levels the average guy on the street has.
Takeaway: eating lots of Kirkland tuna isn't really a big deal.
