I’m seeing new studies that suggest more frequent subcutaneous injections for testosterone cypionate are both easier & more effective than the traditional less frequent intramuscular injections? Anyone care to comment

I seen a few videos of a guy that did subq everyday. He said levels were more stable and less side effects.

Wondering what the oil buildup sub q would be like. I’d be interested to see someone who’s doing it/done its experience.

I want to try it but have to wait u til after an upcoming trip because I do t want to travel with pins and gear.

This has been a debated topic as theres been talk that oil buildup can occur in the fat and can cause brain fog for some. A good rule of thumb if you're choosing to pin subq is try to stay under a half ml, as lumping occurs and absorption can become unstable. Personally if your pinning subq for trt that makes sense, but pinning subq for a actual for cycle I would not agree with as absorption is always going to be better IM when it's pinned deep into the muscle.

I ran a ml of oil 3x a week for 12 weeks, then dropped a compound and finished with 4 more weeks test only. I used 1/2" pin to the delts. No noticable issues. Whether this is considered subq I don't know, but it wasn't deep.

Water based subQ, Oil based IM.. @rastaman69, I use a half inch 29g slin pin for delts hips and lats, it's still IM
I tend to agree. A couple weeks ago I accidently flexed as I withdrew the needle and I swear I could feel the muscle holding it as I pulled. I have trouble comprehending the thickness of skin/fat. I know some guys who use long thick needles and go deep, I just don't understand the need to do that. My bloodwork indicates what I'm doing is working.

Yea I have accidentally flexed and bent needles n my thigh and everything 🤦. If I use slin pin on thigh I use more pressure than I do say on top leg/hip or lats. I've done successful IM injections long enough to feel if I'm not atw in muscles and hell worse case if I am missing anything IM I'm still getting benefits subQ

Wondering what the oil buildup sub q would be like. I’d be interested to see someone who’s doing it/done its experience.

I want to try it but have to wait u til after an upcoming trip because I do t want to travel with pins and gear.

I had a friend who was on 600mg test for a few decades who switched to sub q and he then had bloodwork completed and his levels were much lower than when he did the same dose same batch Intramuscular. HIs body was also aching since starting sub q. I did daily sub q for about 8 months. It seemed ok and my bloodwork numbers showed good. However, for some reason I felt lack of energy about mid afternoon everyday and I was almost crashing. I wasn't sure why and I am still not sure.

I only started test 8 months ago so I didn't know if sub Q was great for me or not but I did daily sub Q for those 8 months. Since I am an experiment, and after chatting with my friend,, I started to do some ventro gluteal (IM) lately for 2 days a week just to give my big belly a break and then I switched to the typical larger dose of 1 injection of 250 / week cypionate and continued with prop about 15mg 3 days per week all right after my larger dose of cyp sort of mimicking sustanon in my own way and I love prop anyway. I then switched to all IM in my ventro gluteal muscle and within only a few days my energy was noticeably elevated and I do not crash anymore and I get a lot more done during the day without a problem and I am 54 years old. My body aches, while they were reduced while doing sub Q,, are virtually non existent anymore and certain problems and injuries do not cause me issues anymore. This was not by design it just happened but I feel fantastic now. It is truly unbelievable but I am super happy about test in general and IM seems to work better. My friend has also switched back to all IM twice per week and he notes he feels a lot better and back to his previous normal state. We are both very objective in our thinking so we were not set that one is better than the other at all.

What does this mean? Well, I don't know it's really up to the reader. I can only comment on my experiences. The net is almost all anecdotal but I can say in my case, and that of my friend, that IM is definitely more appealing than sub Q. Sub Q all evolved from trannies and, while there is not a lot of research for muscle and fitness in general for testosterone other than "testosterone bad", there is a ton of research for transitioning that can be applied to those who are just doing it for health/aging/lifting purposes.

Dunno if this helps but it's my $0.02.
