so guys here is what Im going to suggest . Its apparent that colonial had to go dark . I'm thinking it could be related to the missing packages . I was in contact with him prior to him going dark and he had asked me If I have ever had packs with the tracking not update . we have never experienced that ourselves but in discussing it we arrived at the idea that it could possibly be a post master throwing out a net to see what they could catch. seeing if somebody is going to slip up and comprise themselves . I know colonial and he is way to smart and level headed to slip up like that and try and make contact with the packages. My guess is that he decided to go dark for a while and I suspect when it blows over and he moves locations or sets up someplace else that he will be back to cover any of his customers losses

Until then My suggestion is that you write off the packages . If it is the case then you would be wise to let it go . If you are one of the guys who lost a pack . I suggest not ordering to that address anymore . If your going to use another source you need to use a different address or get a po box . This is not to make anyone nervous but make sure you are covered and know how to handle this situation.

It can happen guys this is why we follow strict protocols.

FWIW PO Boxes dont really help with anything - whether you get the official PO Box with USPS or some sort of similar with Fedex / UPS. Those addresses are instantly communicated and tied back to your official USPS address on record as part of a composite file they hold on you. Just FYI

Hey all. I have reason to believe my package that CL dropped off on Tuesday (CL confirmed this before he went dark) is one of the packages that’s in question. It should have been delivered on Thursday. They ALWAYS arrive quickly.

For those of us who feel that our packages were compromised, would it be wise for us to not open them in the future should they be delivered? I believe it was Chris Bumsteads sister who was in this situation not long ago and was busted once she physically opened the package. I speculate those were much bigger shipments in comparison to my small orders. Not sure what they would gain from busting little buyers like myself but can never be too cautious.

That was a global shipment. sent from outside Canada---> into Canada. Intercepted by CBP, who used it to open an investigation on Bumstead. Unrelated to the sender, they're still prob happily sending packs as we speak

No. If you get it it’s fine. Domestic mail requires a warrant or probable cause to open. Like a leaking package or something obvious.

Those packs were never shipped out. Even if the PO did intercept 1 let alone over 20 it would have been scanned at one point and held at the PO with a love letter getting sent out to the recipient letting them know about contraband along with an address/phone number. There's absolutely no way this was a mistake or was lost in the mail. just another exit scam which happens all the time. Take the L and move on but lets call it what it is.

Love letters come from customs not the PO. Customs can open your pack the PO cannot without a warrant. And as I already mentioned, exit scams do not notify the mods prior to exit. Please don’t spread this bullshit any further.

Isn't it a coincidence that CL was also running maintenance right before his exit? Lets keep it real guys. Im sure it was a good run but saying anything other than what it is will just cause users here to worry for no reason. Website offline. Email gone. Just "give it some time" I wouldn't be shocked if everyone has the same tracking number.

edit: if anything CL should reach out to you and just make peace with the community and leave it behind us.

Why would such a reputable supplier compromise his name and integrity in the end like that? Doesn’t make sense.

Everyone has their reasons, maybe it was time for him to call it quits; who knows. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. PO would have scanned those packs at one point and the fact is they did not and it was many of them based on these people here that never got theirs.

I can confirm without a doubt this is not an exit scam. However like you said, there’s still no need for anyone to worry.

No need to panic. I made an order last week and paid Wednesday evening. Didn't hear back, but it is what it is. Call it what you want but he is the guy truly making the risk. I'm sure he will get back to it when he feels good enough to get back to it. It's a risky business and if you chalk up a loss, so be it. I will let you guys know if I receive my pack.

Before accusing CL of an exit scam, consider the fact that he reached out to the mods here and requested his forum be deleted, that he had irregularities with shipments, and that he reached out to other sources to discuss such irregularities.

You guys don’t seem to understand the need for a source to be very careful about this stuff. The potential consequences of distributing gear are worse than buying gear here in the states. CL is likely in a situation where he needed to safeguard himself. I highly doubt this is a scam but rather a necessary measure to protect himself.
