Ok so you have received a gambit of responses on your question. I'll respond and throw my hat is based on first hand experience. First and foremost, domestic packages are not seized in my experience, they simply stop tracking. It take some work to stop a domestic package in the USPS system and takes more than a single suspicion unless alerted from a dog, in which case they still scrutinize the package heavily and list all possibilities. The next step to isolate the product and, if not deemed dangerous or an immediate threat, then they are required to get a search warrant to open it. This is very different from international packaging, in which, any and all packages can be opened at any point in the transit system for any reason, much like common carriers such as UPS or FEDEX. If you have a tracking that reads they are determining mail-ability, it means that oil has become apparent from the package and they will open it to determine if it is an immediate threat, upon seeing it is illegal, they will forward it to the postal inspector for investigation which has a very low priority when compared with some of the Schedule 1 drugs being smuggled in. The only traceability is to the return address, but will be a dead end. With no other traceability, it will be destroyed. This is unfortunate and puts people at a slight risk but is a calculated risk that happens a few times per year and I take steps to make sure nobody is affected. I believe I had 3 last year, with no further action. Please email me so that we can fix you up.

THank you,
Syn
Only FIRST CLASS MAIL is required to obtain a search warrant in order to open it. It's all on the usps website for you to read.

This is false. First class, priority mail, or even international letters cannot be opened without a warrant. Any domestic mail that is considered “private correspondence” cannot be opened without a warrant without probable cause eg a leaking package, weed smell, if the box is already broken/destroyed etc.

https://www.tulsacriminalattorney.pro/defense-lawyer-blog/2022/11/can-the-post-office-open-your-mail/#:~:text=First%2C%20it's%20important%20to%20note,need%20for%20a%20warrant%20whatsoever.

Here is proof from USPS using a quick google, and two from random ass law firms confirming.

This is now becoming an issue with you spreading complete misinformation and responses that are generally inflammatory or meant to cause fright or anxiety. Please be constructive rather than inflammatory going forward. A little bit of nervousness is good in this world but you’re going too far.

I'm not sure how I'm being inflammatory by simply reading the usps website.

  • First-Class Mail items weighing more than 13 ounces is called Priority Mail.

Ah. You misread. Priority mail falls under the umbrella of first class mail as again “private correspondence.”

First class mail over 13oz is automatically called Priority mail (under tips in the link) and up above the link notes “sealed against inspection.”

I can understand your misunderstanding, but a little more research might have been pertinent. It is well known that priority mail (which most packs are) isn’t searchable without probable cause or warrant.

In the interest of harm reduction, we need to be careful when making such sweeping statements and causing uproar and fear when it isn’t necessary or warranted.

Again, it would be a different issue if it was multiple packs as Colonial was back in the day in which we shut the thread at the first sign of something wrong.

Edit: OP emailed modmail to delete his account. I will await one more response if OP would like to comment. If not, his account will be deleted tomorrow per request.

It's not worth arguing the point, so I'm not going to.

I do appreciate you leaving the conversation open ended for transparency sake. But you can go ahead and delete my account, not because of our disagreement but because I feel I'm at a point in life my personal stressors are affecting my mood and I need to focus more on my personal life than the internet. It's been my new years resolution to be more patient, and I need to focus on my personal life to accomplish that.

I will say syn is an expert on his shipping technique. I won't elaborate further, but you could drop a looney tunes sized anvil on his package and there would be no leaks nor would it show the contents of the package.

Syn, I posted bloodwork from your compounds recently. Can you take a look and tell me if they're approved for store credit, or not? Thanks brother.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Syn. All I said was it made me nervous, and rightly so. I’m not quite sure how what I said warranted this kind of response, as I never called into question your integrity, mentioned your packaging, or said anything other than the fact I was concerned after you didnt log in for nearly two weeks. I Didn’t slander you, talk any nonsense or anything. As a matter of fact, I’m a fan of your products and was just hoping you were good as it’s not typical a source doesn’t log in for such an extended period of time without a heads up.

To be honest, this kind of defensive response over simply stating that it made me nervous, is pretty telling. I would hope that as such an experienced source (as you continue to mention), you would understand this.
My apologies sir, I don't recognize usernames as I see mostly email addresses. My heightened response was from my irritation that comments are thrown out like that and start an avalanche of opinion based on paranoia that may be well founded from the disappearance of previous sources, but creates a ton of work on my part from the customer service side of things as the emails come in asking me to verify all kinds of things including orders and status of orders. But in this situation, it's the holidays and I had a well-deserved vacation coming up that I prepared for, which took a lot of work, and was able to take some time to myself. I even informed the Mods that I would be taking some "me" time. I knew someone would eventually say something about my perceived absence and was ready for it, perhaps a little too ready. I apologize if you think the response was more than it should have been. When dealing with the many characters on the forums I have learned that mob mentality rules the day; whereas one comment leads to the next speculation and the people with opposing views are silent for the most part. Until such evidence either way quiets the speculation it will continue. For me, you might see a pattern where I will allow people to speculate up to a time where the mods are really annoyed at me, or I seize the moment to make the instigator look foolish. That wasn't the case here, I just wanted to squash it before it steamrolled. Again, I apologize if it was considered over-the-top, but as you can see all is well and despite preparations, there is much to do.

"the other day" should never come into your vocabulary when talking about correspondence with me. If you don't have a response, then please carefully check your email for whom you sent it to and never reply to an email that was sent to you cold. I don't advertise and I don't spam...EVER

Speaking of mobs, the “SST Crime Family” doesn’t sound so bad after all.

Only thing is, who’s our associate ?? I’m guessing it would be the finished product?

Syn apologies if the comment came across the wrong way and I have seen all the craziness coming across the forum. What I can say is your professionalism, response, and follow up has been truly the most upstanding I have seen in a very long time thank you so much!
