Okay, to update. Looks like 10iu works to drop my morning BG. I'm deloading this week so no slin, I'll test again next week non-morning.
In other news, walking is amazing for dropping blood glucose. It works everytime.
Sorry boss, I mistyped. It's Humalog. https://www.humalog.com/taking-humalog/using-u100-u200-kwikpen#using-humalog-u-100-u-200
That's what I thought. I'll bump up to 10iu and see if that drops me down.
Twice today I used 6iu and both times my BG levels rose.
That happens? How do people manage to go hypo? My fasting levels are in the 90s.
If I take 6iu insulin I wouldn't expect my levels to go higher than after I eat a meal, even if my liver is compensating.
I'd say I'm insulin resistant...
Does GH spike blood sugar after injection?
I've been taking 6iu humulin r from a quikpen and 1.5iu generic GH at the same time... And my BG just goes up. I'd assume it'd crash from the 6iu slin.
Edit: for instance I just took the 1.5iu GH and 6iu slin and my BG went UP from the 90s to high...
Are there any other amino acids (minus what we find in whey/casein protein) to take with insulin? I know of L-Carnitine, of course, which I inject.
I've heard Carnosine/Beta-Alanine is another potential one we might want to pair with insulin. Any others you guys can think of?
Order arrived crazy fast, but looks like it was ripped open and checked. Anything to worry about? I'll let the pack sit and not touch it for awhile in case someone comes knocking.
Edit: Should also say, it wasn't very stealthy. Once you rip open the box, on the inside there are labeled boxes...
DHB from Colonial has given me bad PIP. Glute injections are the easiest to deal with. Lower quads was a TERRIBLE idea.
However, I've found if I inject really slowly, the PIP is much, much less. Try giving that a shot.
