Is there anywhere to get less expensive Isotretinoin? Doctors usually prescribe 40mg a day dosage for 4-5 months. Every vendor I find it would cost like $400 for that amount. I know Accutane isn’t expensive to manufacture, a strip of 10x20mg sells for ~$3 usd in India from my research.

I don’t even want a full standard course of it, my acne isn’t terrible but I’d like to run maybe 20mg EoD for a few months to see if it clears up. Really want to avoid the side effects so low dosing it seems good. Would appreciate any advice

The reason that it’s more expensive is because you’re paying to 1) not wait two weeks to get it and 2) avoiding the “risk” of ordering it from India.

You can’t order it from India. The thing I researched was from a domestic India pharmacy that only ships domestically within India. I was curious if it was actually very expensive to manufacture so I researched what they pay for it. I don’t mind the risk of ordering from India or waiting 2 weeks, I could wait 2 months for all I care, I just can’t find anywhere to order it.

Assuming you checked with @“AIPCTSHOP” and they said that it cannot be ordered through them? I’ve not had any issues with ordering it in the past albeit from a different source.

Yeah I can order from AIPCT but it comes to about the same price as it does from any domestic vendor.

40mg/day is way too much anyway, unless you have some crazy cystic acne off cycle. Normal .eu dose is 10mg/day+retin-A, which works amazingly well, but is STILL overkill for most of us. I run ~30mg/week tops on cycle and that is enough, with 0 sides and 0 liver enzyme elevation.

There’s several sources on here that sell ugl accutane and u could run 20mg eod for 4 months for around $50 (at least from the source I use).

There are a bunch of pharmacy companies operating in India/Turkey. If you don’t like AIPCTshop’s prices, you can look there. For example, we use to have LifePharmaTakky here who sold phamacy drugs from India (I think she is still sourcing, but not here).

Yeah, lots of drugs are cheaper through doctors because the insurance companies are billed for part of the procedure. So that 4 months of accutane might only be $150 out of pocket, but the total cost the hospital charges would be like $1300. This is why lots of people try to get drugs and bloodtest through their doctors; because it is cheaper than spending out of pocket. (That said, there are a lot of drugs which are cheaper if you pay out of pocket).

Running 40mg/day for 5 months will indeed cost you somewhere like $400. But running 20mg EOD for a few months like you want will only run like ~$50. I don’t know what else you wanted. Dirt cheap accutane? You can get the raws and cap yourself; good luck though, I have heard they degrade fast.
