That makes sense. I was thinking that could be a possibility as well. I have heard digital scales that can accurately and consistently measure milligrams are usually over a $1,000. I could also imagine raw sources potentially being inconsistent with their concentration. It seems even a variance of a couple of percent plus or minus in the raw product could have a nonnegligible effect on the finished product, even if weighed to the microgram.
Does anyone have any real information on why American pharma is, or may be, noticeably better quality than Indian? At face value, I would definitely think America would have greater quality control, but I don’t personally know of any information to support that conclusion.
And thanks for all the help. I guess the conclusion I can draw is that ordering from a pharma source versus an underground source would mainly give you a more reliable dose. And a test dose could be off by 10mg and would have a minimal effect, but with dosing an AI down to the tenth of a milligram consistency is much more important. Although, from what I know about generic manurfacturing from researching other medications, I am not entirely convinced even pharma grade has consistent dosing down to the milligram, much less to the tenth of a milligram. I am sure medications that are critical to dose accurately down to the milligram or microgram, especially brand name manufactures, are dosed properly, but I would be surprised if some generic medications that you pick up from CVS are consistently within a +/- of one milligram.
