Always keep your Wallet Software Up-To-Date!

I was moving some assets to my bitcoin wallet, and noticed that my electrum software wasn’t connecting to the servers, because they released a new version, and changed some network stuff, so the old ones can’t connect any longer.

I almost destroyed 1200 Euro with a single click… Guys, be sure to keep your bitcoin stuff up to date, and don’t do it while your in between stuff.

Always keep your seed backed up. That way when you update or lose a device, you’ll have access to your funds.

I keep handwritten backups in several places just for this case. Had this happen once already, and was glad I had a backup.
