Never made a bomb chicken, they had an episode on sponge bob but it was all pies

I roast whole chickens in a crock pot until they’re cooked and then broil it to crisp the skin. Like a rotisserie chicken. Tons of recipes on the net

literally anything in a sous vide bag = dank. I’ve not used a relish or marinade that I’ve not liked that took the bird to the next level, with the added benefit of not being able to overcook the shit out of it. I used to wonder how people ate so much chicken and then I got an Anova lmao

Either BBQ or Mexican shredded chicken made in a crockpot. So easy and good.

Old school here … back in my day we would order tren by getting finaplix pellets, dissolving them, filtering, then putting into an injectable solution. There was a guy that sold kits and step by step instructions to get this down.

Good times … but very glad sources and blood work have come as far as they have these days.

Shredded chicken tacos

2lbs chicken breast
One package of taco seasoning
1 jar of medium thick and chunky salsa, 16 oz
Fresh chopped cilantro
Lime juice

Cook 4 hours on high in crock pot. Shred after 4 hours and then serve on tortilla with cheese/sour cream or just eat the chicken. I’ll eat the plain chicken on cuts and tacos on bulk.

Nah, carnitas tacos. Toss em in the oven at the end to crisp em up. Pork is better and even cheaper than chicken haha

Lol, that actually sounds dope. I normally make chicken tacos in a skillet; might be part of the reason I haven’t made them in a while.

How are the macros on that? ~2000 cals, 200g protein, 40g fat?

I got a joule recently. It’s really great, make some insanely good restaurant quality meals with it, easily.

Only drawback is everything takes forever, but that’s more than made up for by not having a sink full of crusty pots and pans.

Once you get in a groove bro I find it much easier. You save time marinading and don’t have to worry about the mess. I’ll make chicken then throw them on skewers with vegetables and then grilled them to sear, and normally I’d marinade that shit for 24 hrs+ but with the sous vide I can throw a bag of frozen or thawed chicken and have the same quality in less than 3 hours.

The wife and I are going to florida soon and I’ve just got a deep freezer full of individually seasoned and ready to go bag of meat and shit so we can just have everything ready. I don’t know about yours, but my Anova hooks to wifi so I can just throw whatever in the water at room temp and start it from my phone whenever, which will come in handy soon I feel. All in all it’s about the same amount of work, but 100% consistent taste with literally no thought.

1-2 lbs chicken thighs or half / half thighs and breasts
a few splashes of soy sauce
a splash or two of fish sauce
a splash or two of worcestire
1 tbsp sesame oil
sheet soaking squirt of sriracha
couple splashes of rice vinegar
douse that fucker in chinese five spice

Crockpot in high for 2 hours or low for 3-4

Shred, crisp in a nonstick pan just before eating and add honey if you really want to take it to another level.
