as someone who has had some fucking DIRTY injections and seen people pin literally unfiltered acetate esters for years with no issue I think at this point it’s more personal immune response.
I’ve pinned gear that gave me no issues but a friend took the same gear and got a decent infection.

Immune response is absolutely the biggest factor in my opinion as well. I’ve had a large abscess on my right quad and a couple in my glutes over the years but at that time I was on a biologic immunosuppressant called humira and prednisone for my colitis so I was super prone to infection (I shouldn’t have been pinning anything). When off of those meds I’ve pinned dirty ass needles and been fine. It’s all relative…

On another note… this thread has me all paranoid, I did a quad injection Friday night and it was pretty high up on my quad. Yesterday I had a little pip but it was more localized to the injection spot than I’m used to. Today, same weird pip and I’m growing a bit nervous. Question is, for those of you that self medicate… I have some keflex sitting around and was considering taking it just to be safe until this subsides, stupid idea?
