So I got a medical evaluation coming and I’m concerned about my blood pressure. It’s for a job.
I never had any doctors say that I have high blood pressure, but I’m just paranoid they might say something and it’s going to make things harder for me.
The medical form says to only retest if the readings are 140/90 or higher.
I don’t know how accurate those blood pressure monitors at the stores are, but I took a couple of tests after work and they were 139/77 then 127/75 within minutes of each other.
I also took one a while ago and it says 135/79.
My arms barely fit in those cuffs, 17.5" arms and a lot of readings were errors.
The national charts say 120/80 and under is normal and anything 120-140 is high systolic. I dropped the gear for about a week and drinking more water and eating more potassium.
I do drink a Bang everyday, but haven’t done so for the past few days.
Should I be worried? What can I do the day of the exam to make sure my readings are good with the doctor? Take an aspirin? Do they even take size and age into consideration cause I’m 5’11" 230lbs and about 11-12% bodyfat.
I’m just freaking out right now and don’t want to show up nervous as shit and actually raise my readings.
