Consistent PIP after getting it rarely for years

I don’t know if my technique sucks all of a sudden but I’ve had like 8 straight shots cause delayed muscle soreness pain. It shows up after 48 hours, last for 3 days, then goes away.

I generally rotate 4 spots, and I do 2x a week with about 210mg of Test E total per week. (Vial is 300mg/ml so I do 4 ticks, then 3)

The site is warm to touch, but no other symptoms.

I will say I got an infection about 6 months ago that I had to take antibiotics to resolve from a shot. That had major swelling, redness, and muscle soreness.

Thoughts I’ve had: Scar tissue? Reaction to this supplier’s oil? Me having shitty technique?

It is always so hard to narrow this stuff down. If you have been doing this for years doubtful it is your technique. If this is occurring in all 4 of your rotating sites 48 hours later and lasting for 3 days and it is not like your previous injection infection doubtful it is an infection.

Are you using a new source/batch for these last 8 injections?
When you inject do you feel like it is harder to inject? Putting a needle through scar tissue is a unique feeling, in my experience, it is rougher to go in and hits levels of tissue where you can feel the needle kind of popping through.

not a new source, the bottle i had the first 2-3 shots went fine.

I noticed it’s getting harder to poke through, so maybe I’m working through scar tissue. I might move a few inches up my outer quad.

My best guess is I’ve abused the same spots for too long and I have built up scar tissue.

I see, definitely sounds like a good idea to move injection sites a little bit so long as you can still safely hit that muscle man. I wouldn't totally count out the oil or batch though. I received test from the same source which seemed like different batches and one went in so smoothly the other vial pip nearly every time.

The obvious priority is letting those injection sites rest a little so you don't cause more scarring. I heard massaging them once healed can help break down that scar tissue a little. I have no personal experience though...

massaging scar tissue can help, but you should look up the techniques because it's not just rubbing. you have to apply the right kinds of force to the tissue to break it up, and a lot of that will depend on the way the tissue feels. ive done a lot of scar tissue massage for various surgeries and whatnot.

I guess I don't really consider the slight pain I have the next day "pip". It usually goes away by the second day which is right on time for my MWF rotation. It's noticable at worst. I just attribute that to sticking a needle in my muscle. There's going to be some irritation I guess.

There's pip and there's pip though lol. When I inject MCT oil, it burns and forms an intensely painful lump that takes like 5 days to go down. For the first 2-3 days, there's a burning pain in the nerves and deep soreness every time I move that muscle. It's pretty gnarly. What's weird though is that didn't used to be the case but my body just decided it doesn't tolerate MCT gear for some reason which is a damn shame as it limits choices.
