Cycle's for Low SHBG Guys

Hey everyone,

I’m curious if anyone has any advice for us guys with low to low-normal SHBG values wanting to cycle. I’m currently on TRT (20mg Test-C EOD subq with .5mg arimidex per week) and my SHBG sits around 21-24 with my current protocol.

I’d really love to run Masteron or Anavar for a cutting cycle but am a little apprehensive about my SHBG going too low. Should this be of concern? I know most if not all anabolics and/or androgens will lower or bind to SHBG so I’m curious what the best approach would be.

You probably going to want to pin more often than most people to avoid sides with low SHBG. You didn’t mention anything about your weight/bf%, but if you are not lean, then cut down to a lean bf%, as this will increase SHBG. Insulin tanks SHBG, so when you’re fat and/or insulin resistant, then the excess insulin will chronically lower your SHBG too much. So, if this is the case, lose weight and/or reduce carb intake.

You’re doing your bones a great disservice using an AI on less than 100mg test a week, you don’t need any and if you do, lower the test. if you need an AI it’s not TRT, drop the arimidex and lower the test if you need an AI still.

As for your true question, I dont have much for you there that you dont know. Masteron tanks it but that’s about all I know with much confidence sorry man.
