Just threw dbol into my cycle last week and on my deadlift days my lower back pumps get so bad I can barely walk out of the gym. Im sitting in my car with my seat all the way back laughing in pain waiting for it to pass right now. What do you guys do to make it not as severe???

Nothing has ever worked for me but to get through it. I’ve had to pull my car over and step out for awhile. People will suggest taurine and it may help but in my experience those crazy pumps you get at the beginning of an oral run are just a thing you have to live with.

Ive gotten pumps from orals before but this cycle they are just killing me. Haha i pulled into a parking lot just to straighten my back out and get a little bit of relief.

Taurine should help, I had some bad pumps this one time and started at 3g a day, bumped it up to 6g a day and started to experience digestive issues and diarrhea so brought it down to 4g and that was my number, it helped out enough to diminish the pumps.
But everyone is different, I had someone taking like 10g a day and he said his stomach was fine.
At the end of the day, like the guy said above, it’s just part of the game.

Is taurine known for causing digestive issues like gas and such or is it related to other things that you’d take with it?

I usually just find a park bench to lay down on and cry… 🙂

I’ve yet to find anything to alleviate the tightness/pump once it sets in other than holding a tuck/crunch type position on the floor and time. I haven’t come across any supps/drugs that help. And I’ve tried up to 4g taurine pre-workout.

it’s typically due to increased blood pressure/fluid retention. So, control those and it’ll be less severe

Even 50mg of good Var makes accessories of any type impossible after squats and deads. I know pain, been in pain my whole life. Those back pumps can be so intense if you keep pushing through them, it feels like the muscle is going to tear and explode it’s insane.

Was hyped on TNE and pushed through them too hard one day. Had to take a nap at the gym, couldn’t get to my car.

Yea I wonder about the blood pressure vs actual muscle pumps. In order for me to get any really nasty pumps, even on dbol or not I need serious, serious volume with very little rest. If I just take my time in the gym and go heavy…don’t really get pumped even if I look it.

My BP was 110/70 on TRT test/125mg trest/300mg nand/800mg bold/75mg var (checked BP every day, the EQ frontload got it up to 120/80 for a day but thats it). It’s 105/65 when I’m off cycle. So yeah it’s not blood pressure, because mine is extremely low and I’ve had back pumps that have left me stranded at the gym unable to get home. LOL

Could be my psoriatic arthritis but I doubt it.

What is your back routine that leaves you immobilized?

Just curious since we ruled out HBP… you’re seems on point with mine. And yea I dobut it’s the psoriatic arthritis as doesn’t that hit your joints?

Psoriatic arthritis is caused by the immune system releasing too many inflammatory factors, resulting in tendinitis. Those inflammatory factors could definitely be playing a role.

I’m a deadlifter at heart, pulled 725 before my arthritis hit (was natty still). Deadlift day with frontsquat accessory usually was the worst for back pumps.

If you can’t tell I used to be a powerlifter. My life sucks balls now. At least I’m getting married, thought I’d never find someone up to my standards with this arthritis.
