Got a question for any of you “science bros” but it might be a dumb physics question, lol. So, I’ve been using a 5 micron filter needle that was recommended to me for the vials that I managed to get vial stopper contamination in and it’s working great but then when I started realizing how small 5 microns is (the size of a red blood cell) I started wondering if it’s possible that I’m filtering out some of the compounds as well. I know how sometimes gear can crash and you can see large crystals throughout the vial but is it possible that it can be in a “semi-crashed” state that isnt visible to the human eye but is being filtered by the 5 micron filter?

Also, just curious how many of you guys use filter needles just to be on the safe side?

Thanks!

I just started using filter needles for the same issue with a topper. My only complaint is i feel like it takes forever to draw with it.
