I’m a n00b to BTC. Did some orders with WU, I get it, it’s the archaic. I won’t use WU again. But I opened a block chain wallet. bought some BTC ($150) paid $1.50 trading fee. Had a MFing 30 day wait on the buy. Buy processed and the BTC deposited to my wallet is valued at $112. Come one now!

In the mean time I opened a Coinbase account, and first purchase only had like a 3 day wait. I understand after a couple buys the BTC transfers over faster, but pretty lame to lose a good % of $ being that BTC is so volatile.

Anyone have BTC sitting in a wallet and making gainz??

Give me some good news about BTC.

As of now, seems more taxes, waiting and fees than WU, which is sad.

if you sepa transfer EUR to gdax.com (which is owned by coinbase), and then buy btc with a limit buy order, you pay like 50 cents for the initial transfer and then 0% commission for the actual BTC purchase, btw.

It is my understanding that this stuff doesn’t happen with Square’s Cash app, but since I haven’t used it yet someone else will have to confirm

Just use squares cash app. You link it to a credit/debit card and then have to send a pic of your ID for verification (necessary for BTC withdrawals). Verification takes a few days usually but after that its instant and you can send your BTC to any wallet

Cash app is really good. Support is also good. They did my verification manually so I didn’t have to wait.

Coinbase sucks. Localbitcoins is a little pricier but its fast and easy. Select cash deposit, find a seller with a bank near you, deposit cash and receive coins in less than an hour. Just be aware they are requiring ID over a certain trade volume now.

Speaking of BTC, anyone know of other exchanges which use Instant Buy? Coinbase put an insanely low weekly cap on my instant buy for some reason. Had no issues until recently.

Went from coin base to cash app to purchase BTC way easier and everything is instant!!

Just got the app and did the verification now I’m waiting on them. How did you get them to verify yours manually?

Just had a problem with my Coinbase account yesterday for the 1st time. I’ve been using a prepaid walmart green dot debit card for the past Yr+ with no probs and just last month my credit limit got bumped up to $600 but yesterday when I tried purchasing btc it wouldn’t let me use that card. After trying for an hour I just added that same card to my acct. again and it had me verify my I.D. with it this time… once I did that it worked and let me purchase and also upped my credit limit to $3,000 lol. Idk what the hell the problem was.

BTC sucked when i first got into it, but since I’ve had it a while there aren’t anymore waits. It’s def worth it. I’ve also bought and invested in others which I’ve since sold off. But def takes some time to get used to. But once you get it and understand it you’ll regret not getting into it sooner.

I try to stay away from buying BTC for the sake of using it as a medium to purchase other things. I’ll stick with LTC and ETH.
