Gear and direct sunlight

I was away for a couple days and left a bunch of vials on the desk in my room. The room is always cool but the shades weren’t closed so there was of course sunlight that came in. Do you think this would be a problem as far as potency is concerned? The desk wasn’t baking in the light or anything so I’m not sure if you could call it “direct sunlight” but it is close to the window. Just makes me wonder since I always heard to store in a dark place. Normally I storey gear in my closet out of the sunlight btw.

Shouldn’t be an issue; someone else (like a source) could jump in if they have more experience.

IIRC, it is about storing them in direct sunlight. A few days of being on your desk and receiving partial sunlight is not an issue. If you left them on your windowsill for weeks/months, then yeah, you would probably have an issue.
