Hello. I've been researching AAS and whether the plunge is right for me, but I only recently started looking for a source. If I choose to buy online, are any precautions normal or recommended on the consumer side, like using an alias or getting a PO box?

No you don't use an alias as it can flag the postal worker not to deliver the package.

PO boxes are used occasionally, but there's only a few reasons to use one, like in the case where you live with someone that could possibly encounter a controlled delivery and accept the package in hand. If you live by yourself and you know that only you will be accepting the package then you really don't need a PO box.

Our general rule is that you never take a pack in hand from anyone. If someone wants to hand deliver the pack, that a package is a loss.

Remember $300/hr for a lawyer and a permanent record or you can just wave the pack good bye and there's no risk at all to you outside you just lost hopefully no more than say $200 for your first order.

My rule is I leave it in the mailbox until after dark and then retrieve it. Perhaps a year ago I outlined my method on meso that you should go around the back of the house when walking back in with your pack in case cops roll up, they won't see you go into the house through your front door, you wear latex gloves and you toss the pack off your property or in the gutter if you can. If there are no cops you then write "return to sender" on the pack and don't open it for a day or two until the coast is clear, keeping the pack in the garage making it appear that you'll be returning it, but you forgot, these are really for those of us that order raws that carry much more legal trouble. When you open the pack you do it late at night should it have a tracking device, that way you can flush the contents and smash the vials or destroy the bag, I prefer having a propane torch on hand for this job as you can burn up the box in your garage and toss the ashes outside and eliminate the evidence. As for a tracking device you never damage this as you will be charged for it, so you wearing gloves so you don't leave any finger prints and also wearing a face mask in case there's a camera in the box toss the tracking device off your property as far away as you can without there being any security camera footage which is a big problem these days because everyone has cameras collecting evidence on everyone, so think this out carefully. I have always opened my packs late at night wearing gloves and a mask using a red light in a place where there are no identifiable features to id my location, but my stuff is a little more risky than a typical domestic order.

You can also use a very bright LED light aimed on the box to blind any camera that might be planted, this is common knowledge, but I've not seen cameras show up in packages yet, but it's something that could eventually happen.

This is EXCELLENT advice. Years ago I was receiving Benzos & Opiates pretty often. Just personal amounts usually. Only once was there a controlled delivery attempt. I later learned a "friend" ratted me out to get off themselves.
I always wrote "Return to Sender"and left it outside till dark. Honestly though, eventually they got me. Pulled me over, brought the dog(Never consent to search). Found a few things in the car and gave me 2yr probation. By not consenting to search (even with canine alert), my lawyer was able to get rid of most things, hence the low plea deal.
Obviously, that was a very different situation. A few hundred bucks of PED's mean nothing compared to getting dope and pills.

Even so... Always be Careful.
Thanks again. This is really good advice. Mainly the hand to hand issue. All search warrants are "conditional" of you taking in into your home.

Yup the first thing you always state is "I don't consent to any search for any reason". That way you have it on record.

As for the dog, they are wrong more than 50% of the time. This is no better than flipping a coin. I have long since believed K9 shouldn't be allowed in LE at all for any reason other than perhaps for rescue/cadaver dogs or searching for bombs. A dog is incapable of testifying in court and we all know these dogs are trained to false alert and any action by the dog is considered an alert, there's no way to hold the actions of a K9 responsible. We also have numerous examples of cops planting drugs in vehicles to earn points towards promotions and raises.

If I was in charge of this country no searches of a vehicle would be allowed for any reason at all. No seizures of money or assets for any reason at all regardless of cause.

If LE does find drugs on a person or vehicle then they can only seize the drugs and destroy them, they can't charge anyone for possession, they can't even take down your name and they can never seize money for any reason at all.

You remove the enticement of money from the equation and LE doesn't give a flip about the drug war.

The drug problem in this country doesn't stop until people decide they no longer want to take drugs anymore, it's the simple. It's just like most of the problems we have in our society, they only stop when we finally realize we are self sabotaging ourselves and move onto better things. You will never stamp out drug production as long as there is demand, it's impossible, only be eliminating demand do you get rid of something and that's not just drugs, that's war, violence, greed and so on.....people gotta be shown the way to self control and realize that at the heart of most problems our society is the banker elites, only when the money men are crushed, not by violence, but by informed conscious choice to make sure we never put a dime in their pockets, do we have a chance at fixing this screwed up society.

People often say that law enforcement isn’t out to catch everyday people, it’s the big fish they want to fry. I’ve been skeptical at times but I’ve never worked much and I’ve been fine for years. Take that as you will.

Totally Agree!!
Just a couple thoughts:
I spend a few months a year in Portugal. 20yrs ago they moved all drug laws from Criminal code to Public health code. This means ALL drugs are basically legal in personal use amounts. If "Caught" you simply get a slip to see a counselor with option for rehab if you want. That's it. For crack, heroin, anything. Since doing this, OD's fell drastically, use went down.
Secondly, during my short time in the fed system, I met 2 different former cops who both said the same about the dogs. He said the handlers always made them hit. Everytime. Still, best to deny the search. If they keep you waiting for too long if pulled over for traffic, it'll probably get tossed. They only have reasonable time to get you on your way.

Thanks again

If you travel real light through life you're less of a lure for LE.

Who gets busted: Some dude that doesn't own anything at all, drives a crappy vehicle or doesn't have a vehicle, doesn't keep hardly any money in the bank. This is a waste of time for LE. Imagine invading some zen monks home, the cops are gonna find a bowl of rice, some chopsticks and a few floor cushions, especially if you have the windows open, the cops look in and see nothing in the place, that right there more than anything else will repeal cops as cops are really just pirates looking for booty or treasure, they gotta know there's some cash they can steal in order to jump into action to save the day.

If people would realize cops are only parasites and thieves that do zero productive work and provide absolutely nothing of value to anyone, then you would know how to set up your life so you don't attract a thief.

This is an intense level of precaution and I can't say I've been anywhere near this cautious. Perhaps this will bite me in the ass one day, but I certainly keep packs small. Do you apply this method only to large shipments from china or do you consider it just a good rule for everything?

I consider the problem of postal worker snooping to be epidemic in this country. Your postal worker will often know way too much about your life and they will blab to other postal workers.

I only know this because I live next door to the postmaster of my city and he knows everything about everyone which pisses me off. He's commented multiple times about all the shipments I've received like labware, needles, syringes, the standard stuff we need for this lifestyle. My delivery guy might as well be considered a spy as he probably thinks I'm a junkie even though I don't look like one at all. In the past when I didn't have a reshipper and was taking international packs my delivery guy was paranoid to handle my packs, I could tell watching him he was in a state of horror that I was receiving packs from china and india.

The time has come where sources don't need to just be concerned with the quality of their product, but they have to invest in stealth packaging, reshipping. The more volume your source moves, the more likely they are to get busted.......slow steady and methodical are what sources need to be these day. Every source that cranks out orders really fast is gonna get busted, I've never seen a source go ballsout for years without getting a takedown. This business is better off left to the hermit chemist that is a perfectionist, no family, no friends, just obsessed with quality and sworn loyalty to protecting his customers with an intense hatred of law enforcement.

One last question for you: how do you feel about this quote from one of our sources? -

"Some packages may require a signature for international orders. They usually do not, but it is up to the discretion of the postal carrier to choose if they want to or not. If your courier deems it unsafe to leave the package without signature, they will require it. This does NOT mean your getting raided.“

That's from their website. They had another post encouraging people to sign for packages that stood out to me but I can't find it right now. Thoughts?

I suspect that was from DO.

I've never signed for a pack except non-scheduled ancillaries from India/Singapore. DO and Panda are both using the same reshipper and stealth, there shouldn't be any signature required on raw orders unless someone doesn't have a secure mailbox or the package couldn't be placed into a locked mail box. You as a customer have to make sure the address you ship has a secure box with plenty of room that allows your postal worker to leave it without concern.

DO and Panda are basically stealth packing with a number ID without your name to the states, reshipper matches pack ID # with shipping label printed in the states. It's the most secure and low cost discrete way of getting raws for $50 shipping from China. That said no one in their right mind would sign for half a kilo of raws, I certainly would never sign for any raws and never have.
