Question about longer esters

I was wondering if anyone knows when you’re injecting a longer ester like a cypionate or a decanoate into a muscle group, does it just sit in the muscle like a little globule and just slowly release into the blood from that exact location until it’s gone OR does the oil release from the muscle into the blood within a couple days and then circulate around in the blood until its fully eliminated or metabolized? Thanks.

The latter… The oil is fully absorbed within a day or so and then it circulates in your bloodstream until it is eliminated. The number of carbons in the ester chain determine how long it will stay in your system.

The oil is absorbed in the muscle and released into the blood stream. The ester is then cleaved (at different rates and weight for each ester) and then you just have the Test (or other substance) running through your blood. This is why higher ester weights result in lower actual hormone per ml.

And btw, Cypionate is normally not considered a long ester; it is considered an average length ester. IIRC, its halflife is only a bit longer than Enanthate. Most common longer esters are going to be Decanoate and Undecanoate.

An exception is test u is often in castor oil which absorbs extremely slowly into the muscle, so you get both slow oil absorption and long ester chain resulting in an extremely long half life.
