Accutane While on Cycle

@BeatenCheeks was your acne flaring up and you took the Accutane for it or did you just start the cycle that way? how long did it take for you to notice the results from accutane?

@PersianBody19 I think he hit the nail on the head w the doxycycline. My buddy made huge changes w using that and accutane combined, then dropped the doxycycline ran the accutane a bit longer then essentially tapered off of it also. Now he just uses Retin A and it has stayed clear since the antibiotic.

@PersianBody19 I started taking it once my acne got bad. I think I started to see results after 3-4 months.

Echoing other posts in this thread, I would highly recommend starting accutane at a low dose (20mg ED) and titrating up if needed. The side effects can kick your ass, I got wicked sun sensitivity that I wasn’t prepared for and left me with blisters for weeks. That’s probably an extreme result but worth being careful, it’s a real ass drug.

That said, accutane’s pretty tame on your organs compared to oral anabolics etc., I wouldn’t sweat it even on cycle unless you’re running multiple hepatoxic compounds.

Also I would suggest going the pharma route, I’ve tried UGL accutane in pressed tabs and it did nothing for me, gel caps prevent degradation over time if you’re storing them properly.

You are getting some good advice from people suggesting a low dose. I personally planned to run it for several months but the sides were so bad even at a low dose that if made it difficult to exercise (joint pain, inflammation). With that said, it certainly helped with the acne. I’ve kind of abandoned the idea of cycling it and will probably just take a low dose every now and then as needed because as far as I can tell it has noticeable effects within a day or two on my skin.

Definitely proceed with caution and get it from a reliable source though as this chit is seriously powerful and things could go sideways if you do it wrong.
