Thanks for the input!I can get a little bit of shoulder acne around that level, as well. On that dose (350 mg/wk and above), I pin everyday. This does mean that I don't ever get serum levels as high as yours shortly after pinning, but it does reduce the sides. You might try that if you aren't specifically exploiting that bolus window for extra heavy work days.
On the medical side, there's a small but real benefit to taking a statin when it comes to acne. Since your cholesterol is probably a little out of wack on that dose, it may be worth considering a relatively small amount of one of the popular ones... 10 mg of atorvastatin or rosuvastatin daily or EOD is a good starting point. Two birds with one stone sorta thing.
The other is simply using a harsh mechanical exfoliator and benzoyl peroxide (PanOxyl or whatever store brand you find). I have to use one of these sexy things because I've had both shoulders replaced and can't get to my upper back well otherwise. I had done a couple of cycles before the first shoulder, and the guys at the PT office showed me the light... get rid of every bit of dead skin occluding your pores, give the peroxide a couple of minutes to do its thing, and you're golden. That scrubber thing, in particular, has one side that's rough as fuck and one side that's gentler... best $10 bucks you'll ever spend.
If you don't mind me asking, how are you holding up on 12.5 mg aromasin daily? Is that your first protocol, or did you get there from some experiment?
Do you use the benzoyl peroxide everyday in the shower during only a breakout or no matter what once you get up to that test mg to prevent it too?I can get a little bit of shoulder acne around that level, as well. So you're taking 3 showers a day every day..... How long have you been doing that for?UPDATE: Acne is drying up very quickly since I introduced salicyclic acid 3 times daily. I use Equate quick action pads and Equate oil-free cleanser, both of which contain salicylic acid. I have read that SA does nothing for cystic acne but I'm watching mine dry up and go away firsthand. If you have an acne issue it is definitely worth trying out. Not everyone needs to go the Accutane route. Hope someone can find some needed help from this thread.
SA protocol: apply cleanser at the end of a shower before you get out and dry off when you wake, apply a quick action pad about 4 hours after your first shower, and finally apply the last dose of SA during your last shower before bed. One should keep the dosages spread at least 3-4 hours apart (potent at drying skin out).
2 showers daily... the quick action pad is used without a shower. So you're taking 3 showers a day every day..... How long have you been doing that for?
