Advice on Situation with Swollen Butt

Hello,

Short little thread and to the point:

such a noob question because I know it’s an infection: but I keep getting warm, red, swollen lumps on my injection site - Test E injection 100mg (I do 3x a week).

I have been pinning for a year and 85% of the time the same thing happens even after all below:

1. put the vial in warm water
2. I wipe everything with alcohol wipes (site & vial top)
3. massage site after pin
4. rotate sites
5. use a slin pin 29g 1/2 in

at this point, I am thinking it’s the carrier oil, my source (on here), or the test ester.

has anyone been in the same situation?

any advice on breaking scar tissue on the glute? like enough scar tissue where the needle just cant do anything.

have been dealing with this for so long that I just became fedup lol

My guess is yoir allergic to something… try different carrier.oil… then a different ester

I’m guessing your getting sub Q leaks because your only using a 1/2 needle in a place people are supposed to use 1-1.5in needles. I’ve had more than a few sub Q leaks that felt warm to the touch but they went away after the ester half life. You should still go to the doctor and get it checked out though.

at first, I thought it could be subQ leaks but would Subq leaks lead to red, swollen, lump, tender type of thing?

I always thought subQ leaks were just minimal pain and just slightly swollen, but in my case, I can’t even sit on the side that’s swollen.

@99powerstroke fuck I’m glad you saw that… I completely missed it… I would definitely say you are possibly right… he should try 1in 1.5 in and there.is a damn good chance he is good to go… I get subq sometimes using 30g 1/2 on my delts… and sub q feels almost 9dentical to an infection… good catch…

@PersianBody19 my subq leaks will,because swollen hot lump… are just a swollen area… feels like an in fection and hurts bad… hurts to touch it … that’s on.my delts… if inwere you I would get 1.5 in 25 gauge and try it asap… I would attack that possibility first. @99powerstroke seen your pin size which I missed… he is right… If I were you I would get bigger pins before.my next injection

@PersianBody19 I habe read about alot more people allergic to carrier oils then esters… esters aren’t natural… carrier oils come from a fruit or a seed… food allergy is super.common… i but I would rule out subq first by trying 1.5in 25 gauge… that’s what I use.for.gluts a vg glutes… I’ve done every ester and mct eo guaiacol gso and.cotton.seed… no issues yet… I use a 30gaige 1/2 in on.my.delts… and I habe had a couple sub q.leaks and.my.delts are lean… and it feel like and.infecrion gets little red hot.firm and painful and painful to the touch

@PersianBody19 yes, A sub Q leak would be warm/red/swollen. I had a big 1.5ml sub Q leak in my quad a couple of months ago that I was very red/warm/swollen. It went away in 3-4 days.

But it could also be an infection, I would wait the ester length then if you still have the same symptoms go to the doctor.

Infections are fairly obvious and rare, unless you dropped the needle or something. 99% of the time it’s a sub q leak. Both will have similar symptoms, however an infection would be much more swollen and typically you’d have noticeable feverish symptoms, it’d be like you were getting sick.

I’m currently dealing with an infection, never have had one in my life, I’m very sterile with my procedure, but there’s always a chance that something could have touched a surface that wasn’t clean! I personally think It’s the gear I ran, and I’m starting to see a lot of people on here complain or mention bump, or swollen injection sites! If you notice after 2-3 days the bump is getting worse, you need to seek medical attention ASAP! It’s not a joke if the bump spreads or burst can cause sepsis to happen which is life threatening. It’s not something you want to wait and see. Anyways cheers

I have pinned my delt before (I’m decently lean and delts have striations) but still get the swelling/hot feelings. I push the pin all the way in as well, would the 1-1.5in needle still make a difference? Or would you guy’s think its more of a carrier oil/ester situation?

@PersianBody19 ok so I recommend going on amazon… and there you can get a vial of sterile mct oil by alpha labs I believe they are called… get that and pin maybe .3-.5 ml and see if.you get any reaction… that will rule out carrier oil. Cheap and simple and it big progress in your situation…

It’s crazy you went this long with this problem… your a stubborn fella lol… I habe had good test e from good labs that was pippy and stopped using it. It wasn’t bad at all… just test e is known for this sometimes… get another labs test e and boom gucci… this lifestyle is hard enough… fuck being in pain if I can easily avoid that pain

The amazon idea was actually pretty smart, but I ordered TestE last night from SRX ( has MCT) and will try it out and hope I don’t react bad.
I am a very stubborn person when it comes to pain lol, not a good thing ethier

If it were an infection via subq the bumps would be turning into cysts.
