Amazon Gift Cards to BTC or Monero

I know someone that had a birthday and received about $200 in Amazon Gift Cards that were paid in cash. This person would much rather have BTC or Monero, but upon looking online for a way to do this, the price gouging was near 25 to 35%. He is willing to go 10% and tried to post on Craigslist, but of course, it got reported. He also looked at OfferUp, but gift cards are not allowed. He has the physical cards, along with the receipt showing that they were paid for in cash and the backs have not been scratched for the code. He said they were in $10"s and a few 25$ cards. What is the best, safest way to make a trade for these? Mods. If this question is not allowed, please delete.

That said, sell to a card exchange website for money then buy crypto. You’re going to get shit rates and thats that.
